The second-smallest U.S. state at 9 miles long and a maximum of 35 miles across, Delaware is known as the First State because it was first among the original 13 states to ratify the U.S. Constitution on December 7, 1787. The state’s many historic sites include colonial-era cities like the old grain port of Odessa with its pristine 18th-century buildings, the original 1802 Du Pont Company gunpowder mill on the Brandywine river, and the grand Du Pont mansions of Chateau Country near Wilmington. Many quaint port towns amid miles of sandy beaches along Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Coast, the Amish Country west of Dover, and great regional food and drink make Delaware a fun destination.

I recently went up with Chris for my first paragliding flight. During the preflight Chris did an awesome job explaining the equipment and what could be expected. The takeoff, watching the ground fall from under us was byfar one of the coolest experiences I've had. I've flown many times but that's quite different than being suspended from a giant kite or wing. When I made the decision to go up I was wondering if my insurance policy was big enough but after the flight it seems there is a greater risk of accident on the ground, at least for me. Chris is passionate about this hobby and a great professional to trust for you adventure!

Such an enjoyable experience! It was a beautiful morning and, we were able to go quite high and get some amazing views of the area. Christopher is a very knowledgeable and detail oriented instructor. He was able to answer all of my questions and give a good instruction for someone with no flight experience. He was also very mindful of our safety which made me feel comfortable on the flight. I would highly recommend planning a trip with him if you get the chance.

Getting to drive around Dover was a fun experience. Very fun if you don’t have any plans in Dover. Please be advised: the third point on the map has an incorrect sign. Direct Nails is now Perfect Nails. We’ve contacted Hearo, and hope they fix this soon for anyone else wanting to do this experience.

Jeremy was an awesome laid- back guide ! Both my teens said this was their favorite part of their vacation. Such a relaxing perfect morning kayaking the bay. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a great time on our scavenger hunt and saw many places in our little beach town we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Our hunt guide was friendly and encouraging! We hope to do another one at home in a cooler part of the year! Definitely recommend!

We chose an unexpectedly hot and humid day for our hunt which was the only real drawback for the actual event. Would definitely try it again on a cooler day. My only complaint was that leading up to the day we chose, I realized that the company booked a different start time than we asked for and it was VERY difficult getting in touch with a human to discuss in timely manner.
