Our tour guide Ahmed was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The driver Sayed bravely and safely piloted us through the crazy Cairo traffic. I think the highlight of the trip was the visit to the two mosques in the citadel, along with the friendly discussion with Ahmed about the cultural and religious beliefs and practices. A wonderful learning experience. As expected, the Egyptian museum was fascinating, made even better with Ahmed’s insightful explanation of what we were seeing. The Khan el-Khalili Bazaar was interesting, but pretty much full of the Chinese mass-produced trinkets you can find at any tourist spot. The highlight here was enjoying a Turkish coffee break with Ahmad and watching the crowds go by.

Loved the experience!!! We toured everything, the guide took some very nice pictures, explained everything about the history of Egypt and gave me a space to tour on my own what I wanted... but always very much watching me!

We booked this tour and Hala was our tour guide. She was wonderful. We started at the Khan el Khalili in the morning for shopping before it got busy, then we went to the Mosque, the Citadel, and had lunch which was great. Went to a papyrus shop and jewelry shop. Hala took pictures with us and of us with beautiful backgrounds. We did miss the Egyptian Museum which closes at 430pm because we ran into heavy traffic. Hala did make it up to us and added a boat ride. Had a great experience starting from hotel pick-up up until hotel drop-off. Thank You Hala and Mohammed, our driver.

Excellent experience! We went to all the places indicated in the tour and with an extraordinary accompaniment of our guide Mahmoud Niazy, always very friendly, with a lot of knowledge of the culture and history and taking us to the best local sites!!Important to mention the driver Yasser salah, who made us feel safe along the way.100% recommended this tour!!

Overall a good experience to explore the Citadel, Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and the main market. The museum is a must between the 3 museums in Cairo and the experience of seeing the Treasures of Tutankhamun is amazing. His Mask, 2 coffins (inner coffin made of Gold of 110 kg, and outer coffin which was gilded), Throne are truly special. Also amazing are the 2 mummies of his grandparents and are very well preserved - you can see their faces, hair and even nails in tact. Remember the Mummy of Tutankhamun is not here but in Luxor.

My guide was knowledgeable about the artifacts in the museum and Egyptian history. She answered all my questions and made sure I had a pleasant experience throughout the day, taking pictures and making jokes. The driver drop off and pick up was easy, and ticket entry was frictionless. Read ahead on the bazaar and have some idea what you want to shop for or do there. I enjoyed that part of the tour less than I probably could have because I felt we were just wandering aimlessly and the shopping/haggling was not fun since I didn't know what would be a fair price on the items I bought. But it is very cool there and worth seeing.

The lady that help us through the tour was very very good. She explained everything and since we are older she was very accommodating with us we will recommend this tour to everybody.

Really enjoyed our tour to the Museum, Citadel and Market. Our guide was a history teacher and a fountain of knowledge. He really was a great asset to the trip. We learnt so much. The driver was great fun too and was alway cracking jokes with my mum and we had a great time. He was a very skilled driver which is needed in Egypt.

The citadel was stunning with great views over Cairo and the great pyramids of Giza in the distance.

The tour of the museum and the citadel was amazing. Our tour guide Manar was the best and so knowledgable of all the best things to do and see in Cairo. She was fantastic! I would recommend doing this after the pyramids as most of the history is a continuation of life in Cairo post the pharaohs. Definitely a must see!

Excursion with Omar. Let this excursion start an hour later in consultation with the organization. In consultation with the guide, we went to 2 additional mosques instead of the market. Very impressive. Seen the highlights of the museum that the guide will guide you through. Top: the guide has a lot of knowledge, a pleasant driver who drives safely in the chaos of Cairo. Extra great that Omar took the trouble to sing in the various mosques, which was amazing to hear with the echo. Tip: Mohamed Ali mosque and Cairo citadel are mentioned separately but are one attraction. Museum lasted 2 hours instead of 3. The day was 8 hours long as the minimum advertised, but a lot of time was spent driving. And there was a visit to the spice shop. They also pass by oil or papyrus. Of course without 'obligation' to buy anything. All in all, it was a worthwhile and very interesting day excursion.

The tour is perfect for a small family. We had a private vehicle and an excellent guide. Fatima from Emo tours was the best guide we could ask for. She tailored our tour according to what we wanted to do and had extensive knowledge of ancient Egypt and other sites. She was also kind enough to show us the best cafés and transport options in downtown Cairo
