What a wonderful tour, our guide Gabby was fabulous. The train trip to Morretes was comfortable, scenic, relaxing. Plenty of room in carriage so everyone could get their shot. Gabby spoke perfect English plus Portuguese. Which was fabulous for a pair of Aussies
Lots of interesting information, snacks and drinks available.
Would definitely recommend

Elegance on the rails
And just wonderful. The tour guide, in fact all the logistics workers, did an excellent job. They provided quality information showing good knowledge of the whole journey.

Spectacular - must see.
This was an amazing train trip the views were spectacular and the host very friendly and personable. The time flew by. Lunch was excellent.
The only problem was we were tired and would have liked to go straight back after lunch rather than stopping at different tourist spots.
It would have been nice to have been offered an extra charge for the sumptuous carriage rather than the lovely carriage we had.
Thank you.

Scenic, Relaxing, and Exceptionally Well Hosted
This was an outstanding experience from start to finish, and the host deserves special recognition. The scenic train ride itself is beautiful, with incredible views that make the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. Morretes and Antonina are charming, historic, and well worth the visit, and the pacing of the day was perfect—never rushed, never dull. What truly elevated the experience was the host, who was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. It felt less like a tour and more like traveling with a local friend who loves sharing their region. If you’re considering this trip, I highly recommend it—especially for solo travelers looking for a relaxed, friendly, and memorable day.

Amazing nature!
Very organised. I was the only English speaking person on the tour, but the guide explained what was going on and translated as necessary.I visited early in the year when there were not too many people on the tour. This was good because the carriage wasn’t full. The views of the beautiful Atlantic forest were stunning, so I was able to take lots of photos,I also enjoyed the lunch and talking with the Brazilian people on the tour. They were so nice to me, it made the day even more special,

Breathtaking landscapes!
The tour is stunning from beginning to end. The exit from the railway station was a bit tumultuous, but boarding the chosen wagon was wonderful.
I made the descent by train, and the ascension, that is, the return, of the van. But both forms were captivating and inviting to an accompanied return.

New sensations
Knowing historical places is fundamental to our mental health. The tour provides this, relaxation and tranquility.

Curitiba SET 2025
Historic train trip between Curitiba and Morretes, passing through the city and the region of the Atlantic forest.
Beautiful landscapes and depending on the place / wagon chosen you will have a great trip or a good more or less, we went in the wagon 19 which is one of the most tops, I suggest going in the last that are those who have a balcony to look at.

Fantastic!
I bought the tickets over the internet and canceled the hotel that would stay. At the exact time the Sierra Verde staff went to pick us up at the hotel.
We picked up the best wagon category BOUTIQUE . It is the last wagon that has panoramic windows and a huge balcony , where you enjoy the whole journey .
The other wagons have small windows and are between the other wagons , so you can 't take advantage of the whole landscape .
In this wagon serve coca cola , guaraná , water at will , a small box with snack, peanut and honey bread ( all delicious ) . Guide speaks Portuguese/English.
The 10 most beautiful train ride in the world.

Great experience
Great guide and service. We went to the last van that has a balcony, makes it easy to take pictures and see the sights. The tour had an open bar (no alcohol and beer) and offer a basic snack. It's worth the experience. Very organized. The guides were always attentive to remove any doubt and presentation of the points clearly to everyone. We'll be back for sure. Although it was cloudy, we were lucky and got the mountain clean.

A beautiful walk
An incredible experience that is definitely worth it. It was all perfect. We picked up the sun package, which included the transfer in/out at the hotel. Nothing to complain about. The company is serious and punctual.

Train-ride to remember
This was a well organized trip and, from start to finish, I really enjoyed the way it was supervised and the support offered by our guide. This was particularly so because as a British traveler extra care was taken to ensure that I was fully informed and advised of proceedings in my own language. The journey itself was spectacular and I appreciated the drinks that were provided during the trip. The seating arrangements were very accommodating and there was free movement throughout the section of our part of the train. I was impressed that any instructions by the crew were respectfully provided. Every effort was made to ensure our enjoyment and safety.Commentaries were offered in my language although, to be honest, I was more taken up with the stunning views outside.Lunch was provided following the train journey. This was enjoyable (perhaps it could be made clearer that the drinks and/or sweet were an additional cost) and took an hour. The stop in the towns were time constrained. Personally, I was more impressed with the first town and would have liked to have explored this more and to have had time to stop for a refreshing drink before moving on.The coastal town, I felt, was a less interesting stop. The only vendor on this stop was a small ice cream outlet which was disappointing. There wasn’t much to see or do at this stop.If I were the tour operator I think that I would review these stops. Perhaps a better solution would be to spend more time at the first stop and move back to the drop off point from there? However, in overall terms, this did not unduly influence my excellent opinion of the trip as a whole experience. The trip back seemed long. The microphone used by our guide was loud and indistinct at times which was frustrating. Perhaps this could be looked at in future. For anyone in two minds about this trip I would definitely not have missed this and, apart from some minor observation points, I would highly recommend that you DO NOT miss this. This was one of the highlights of my visit to South America.

We like it very much
The tour is good, quite interesting, but what bothered me was that they never stopped trying to sell things inside the wagon during the tour. I went there for a walk, if I wanted to buy something, I'd go shopping.

Really beautiful scenario and interesting stories to learn
You need to be a little patient, because it's a slow ride train. But to me, it was very worth it, as you can listen to the stories from the guides, appreciate the view during those hours between Curitiba (3,000 feet) and Antonina by the ocean level and have fun going on a picturesque ride. To my teenage soon, the ride could be faster, but still he enjoyed the scenes and the food in Morretes city.
