Amazing city with several free tours options

What a wonderful tour, our guide Gabby was fabulous. The train trip to Morretes was comfortable, scenic, relaxing. Plenty of room in carriage so everyone could get their shot. Gabby spoke perfect English plus Portuguese. Which was fabulous for a pair of Aussies Lots of interesting information, snacks and drinks available. Would definitely recommend

And just wonderful. The tour guide, in fact all the logistics workers, did an excellent job. They provided quality information showing good knowledge of the whole journey.

This was an amazing train trip the views were spectacular and the host very friendly and personable. The time flew by. Lunch was excellent. The only problem was we were tired and would have liked to go straight back after lunch rather than stopping at different tourist spots. It would have been nice to have been offered an extra charge for the sumptuous carriage rather than the lovely carriage we had. Thank you.

The walk is pretty. We didn't like the package that comes with the van that takes back to Curitiba. We had to go to the restaurant of the package, which is far from the city, and it is not possible to choose the dishes, we stayed only 40 minutes in Morretes, we passed quickly by Antônia, barely got to meet. Very running. We had to visit a theme park Hisgeopar, we had no choice and did not recommend. Bee honey without straw costs 70 reals, but in Canela we find it for 25 reals. There is no lunch-free package option on the official website. We went through a lot of heat, because we were wearing cold clothes. In Morretes, the temperature is high because the air does not circulate. We went hot, because in Curitiba it was cold. I recommend the wagon with balcony. The walk is long and the balcony made a lot of difference, for the view and for being able to stand. We really liked the train. We don't like the part of the van.

Always observe the weather forecast, with rain does not pay to take the walk. Ideal is to go to Morretes by train and back from Van, bus... It is a tour that blends nature, history and gastronomy. Ideal for those who want to live something different, relax and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

Morretes and Antonina are charming, historic, and well worth the visit, and the pacing of the day was perfect—never rushed, never dull. What truly elevated the experience was the host, who was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. It felt less like a tour and more like traveling with a local friend who loves sharing their region. If you’re considering this trip, I highly recommend it—especially for solo travelers looking for a relaxed, friendly, and memorable day.

Very organised. I was the only English speaking person on the tour, but the guide explained what was going on and translated as necessary.I visited early in the year when there were not too many people on the tour. This was good because the carriage wasn’t full.The views of the beautiful Atlantic forest were stunning, so I was able to take lots of photos,I also enjoyed the lunch and talking with the Brazilian people on the tour. They were so nice to me, it made the day even more special,

The tour is stunning from beginning to end. The exit from the railway station was a bit tumultuous, but boarding the chosen wagon was wonderful. I made the descent by train, and the ascension, that is, the return, of the van. But both forms were captivating and inviting to an accompanied return.

It is always wonderful to join a nature-oriented trip, and this one is not different. But since brazilians are more used to the atlantic forest, the trip may be more impressive to foreigners. The part with panoramic views correspond only to a part of the trip. Antonina is a nice surprise to the voyage.

It’s a well-organized ride through the “primordial forest” of Brazil on a train that travels with fantastically different wagons. Everyone gets their place by place card on a sofa or armchair. It goes slowly through the city of Curitiba, then steadily upwards. On the way, you can wait for freight trains. All in a charm of earlier decades or even centuries. You can see how hard it must have been to build the track. You can see nature taking back abandoned places. Panoramas are included during the ride. Unfortunately, the return trip is on the bus and there is a little too little time for the places. The special dish in Morretes is very good. The staff: very friendly. Information in English is significantly shorter than in Portuguese. Unfortunately, the car is sounded musically. Silence is something many people can't stand. Otherwise you could hear the animals of the forest when the train stops to let freight trains pass.

Knowing historical places is fundamental to our mental health. The tour provides this, relaxation and tranquility.

We were met on the train by the guide and then returned via minibus to Curitiba with stops in Morretes for lunch, which was great and Antonina. Personally, I would have swapped a stop in Antonina for more time in Morretes or a stop at a roadside cafe will a look at the view as we gained elevation on the drive.

The train ride is a very enjoyable experience, you see beautiful landscapes and the guide will tell the historical data. The speed of the train is very low, which makes the journey a little time-consuming, but not disappointing. We were lucky to make the tour on a sunny day and with great visibility. The left side of the train has the privilege of seeing the best landscapes.
