A speedy KISS!
Castle gets very crowded. This tour emphasizes getting the castle early to beat the crowds. We did. We had explored the castle and kissed the stone within 30 minutes of the facility opening. Very nice and appreciated!

Great guide, plenty of...
Great guide, plenty of time at each stop. Very nice day. Beautiful castle grounds. A little extra time at castle would have been better and less time in Kinsdale would have worked.

Cork with Darren
We hired Darren to guide us around Cork. Blarney Castle, and the Jamison Distillery.
Since we were coming off a cruise ship, hiring Darren was much better than getting an excursion.
Darren made sure we were one or even two steps ahead of the us bus loads and crowds at the destinations. This made for a pleasant day in a relaxed and unhurried environment. Darren is very knowledgeable about the county and local area which he shared with us along the way.
He was prompt, professional, pleasant, and took great care of us to ensure we enjoyed our day. He also gave great advice on where to have some excellent Irish coffee.

Well planned
Very well planned. Had a dedicated train car from COBH to Cork then a bus to Blarney and back to COBH. They had staff at each connection to make it clear and easy. Guide provided a good mixture of information and guided walks and free time.

Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle.
Ronan our guide was fantastic . His knowledge of the history of the area was second to none . Would highly recommend doing a private tour with him . The visit to Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle were amazing.

Definitely worth the hype!
Our tour guide Andrew was very nice and informative. He told us a lot of info and always made sure we were ok. Visited the Blarney Castle. The line up was very long almost an Hour. But the experience was fun. Kissing the rock was quite uneasy as you had to go upside down. But lots of people did it. I think it’s worth the hype. The garden was beautiful. The tour was fun especially they had a private train just for this tour. Very close from the cruise port to meet up. Strongly recommended rather than doing with the cruise ship.

A great castle, a fun climb, and very cute little city.
My wife and I really enjoyed the Blarney and Kindale experience. I went to the top and kissed the Blarney Stone. I can tell you it is not as difficult as it sounds. I have a new knee and a new hip. I will not say it was easy, but there are hand holds on both sides and everyone takes one step at a time. Kindale was a beautiful port city. Our only sadness was we didn’t have more time to shop there.

Fun day with paddiewagon tours!
I really enjoyed the Blarney Castle! Not enough time to go up and kiss the stone but that was due
To the day of the week and the fact that 3 cruise ships were in port. The Jameson tour was the highlight for my friend and I! Such a great tour guide Nanni was a great tour guide and the tasting was generous! Ray Kelley was our driver and he was a ton of fun! He is also a great story teller and singer! Thanks Ray!!

Fabulous Time!
I highly recommend this private tour and you will be ahead of the lengthy weight times at the Blarney Castle. You will also be taken to see hidden gems of the main tourist attractions. Request Michael Patrick Martin he knows the history of has many stories to share.

Guide Pat, and Driver Colman were great. Shared great historical info of places we visited & history of Ireland.
Both guide & driver were very helpful with the wheelchair assistance for my bro in law. Very knowledgeable with great customer service!

Kissed the stone!
Highly recommend doing a small group tour like this for Blarney! We picked this tour over a shore excursion from the ship and were not disappointed. We got out of Cobh and in front of all the big tour busses and essentially walked right up to the castle and a very short que to kiss the stone! The castle and grounds were amazing! We also spent some time at the Blarney Woolen Mills with this tour...buy your Irish textiles here! We found pricing and quality was top notch vs stops in Dublin and Belfast. The Jameson stop was also very cool, great history tour with guide there and the tasting was fun. We also had time for a quick stop at a cathedral and took the option of jumping off the tour a bit early to walk the streets of Cobh for some shopping! Overall Noah the tour guide was super awesome, very knowledgeable and was quick to point out a lot of sights. He was a great guide. Paul the driver was fast and safe! I absolutely recommend this small group tour, book it!

Keiran's stories make all the difference!
We booked this tour less than 48 hours before our cruise ship docked in Cobh. We had originally planned to take an independent tour to Blarney Castle by train and bus, but the operator canceled without much notice, so we looked for an interesting alternative. The best walking tours we've taken in our global travels have been where the guide makes the history come alive through stories. Keiran, who personally leads every tour, did exactly that. It's so much more interesting than just a factual recap of who did what, when, and where. As our group turned out to be just my wife and me, it surprisingly end up being a private tour.We learned about the Irish people and their struggles to gain independence in the context of world affairs, and how those folks worked with Americans, Brits, Germans, and others over time. Keiran gave us the personal perspectives of various stakeholders throughout history. That really helped us understand why different parties did what they did. Keiran told each story with interest and enthusiasm, and encouraged us to think about what we would have done back then. There are some short uphill walks, but plenty of stops to sit and engage in the stories.

Fabulous for all ages
We had a wonderful morning on the harbour with our family (3&5yo kids). It was so much fun that everyone had turns to drive and the scenery was stunning. Ryan checked us in and got us all ready for the water. He was so lovely, very clear with instructions and great with the kids. Our guide Rhys was super. Again, very clear with instructions and he was fun and told us very interesting stories/information about the harbour. We will definitely back to do this again.
