Chicago Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The guide was very knowledgeable and gave commentary non-stop throughout the whole 90 mins, which I thought was impressive (I got the impression she could've talked for a lot longer on the subject). She understood a lot about the technical side of the architecture, as well as the history of it. The views of the skyscrapers are stunning and ones you would only get from being on the river.

Second time doing the architectural tour with this company but I did it in the evening this time to see the lights.It was a great tour with a lot of information about the different styles and history of the buildings and some Chicago history as well.

Absolutely wonderful tour! Liz was a fantastic guide, had the best personality for being a guide. Highly recommend this tour at night!

Our tour guide was amazing!!! Seeing and hearing the history of Chicago was amazing!!! It began to get dark as we were leaving the boat, so that makes things all the better!!

We took the 9/3 9:30 Architectural Tour narrated by Dan J. Dan was great. His explanation about each building's history and architecture were easy to understand and very entertaining. We highly recommend this tour.

What a beautiful evening we had,the sunset was gorgeou! . Staff was very courteous. We didn’t purchase any drinks because we hadjust finished dinner earlier. But there was a bar. Theseating was comfortable. The narration was easy to understand and finding the location was super easy at the Navy Pier. I would highly recommend ending your Chicago trip with a sunset cruise.

First of all the staff rocked, EJ did amazing explaining everything at the front, and Sami was super proactive in helping to enhance our experience during the tour. And the illusions were really cool too, looks well maintaine.

Great tour staff and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and humorous. He brought Chicago and its history to life.

Oscar at the front desk was very nice and let us know to leave a review if I was helped out or enjoyed the museum. Sami was also a great help!

Not an architecture tour so don’t take this if that is what you’re looking for. A great way to see the sites at night. A very enjoyable evening and Bobby are guide was knowledgeable and available to everyone for any question they may have had! Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour—the scenery, the sunset and the Chicago skyline were beautiful! It was a lovely way to end the day.
