Easter in Chamarel (Updated 2026)

From the moment we got on board we were so looked after waited on hand and foot drinks continuesly offered well fed and all the staff were so nice friendly couldn't stop asking if you wanted anything, told you things and passed on local knowledge which was great, would highly recommend this trip and crew they were above and beyond massive thanks we had a great day 😀 😊 😄

Information in advance clear, very friendly crew, delicious BBQ lunch, very relaxed atmosphere on the boat. We had a very nice day together with our children aged 9 and 12!

Great walk through the sugarcane fields and along the coast with breathtaking scenery. The quad bike is ideal for this kind of fun and fast outing to travel the small paths to discover the south of the island. Our guide Ophelia was attentive to our expectations and even helped with souvenir photos and video. Perfect organization even for lunch with Mauritian specialties in the heart of Vanilla Park. We did this course after the rain which added some fun to the slides in the corners (and some mud), I guess in very dry weather there must be a lot of dust (mask and glasses imperative). In the end great experience that I highly recommend.

We had a great time. All of the staff were fantastic, and the lunch and drinks provided were great. Even the bad weather at the start couldn’t put a downer on the day.

Our 5th time I think :) Always a fun trip and always different due to the people that you share the trip with. Staff professional and fun. Good organisation, friendly. Lovely BBQ. Beautiful trip, just love every minute of it. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend went on the quad bike tour with Orphelie as our guide. I would 100% recommend this trip. From arrival to the site all the staff were so kind and helpful the amenities on site were good as you had a place to shower and clean up after the quads. The tour its self was beautiful and fun! Orphelie is a credit to the company! She ensured we were safe and driving to our limits knowing that we are experienced in quad biking she let us really enjoy the ride but still kept us safe! There was only me my partner and Orphelie so when they say small groups they really do mean it. We got to the waterfall where only me and my partner was Orphelie took stunning pictures and videos of us throughout the tour and let us enjoy our privacy and the beauty taking a backwards step when appropriate to let us enjoy our moment. Great experience, great staff and great value for money!

A very nice discovery of Savanne by quad while crossing the sugar cane plants and following the coast. During the quad stops, we were able to discover magnificent landscapes. As a bonus, meal in the vanilla nature park and discovery of several species. A great sporting experience 🤩

This is a lovely experience, that we had with the family (couple plus two mature teenage daughters). The cost that we paid I think was pricy but sometimes you do pay, just for that piece of mind.The session was all day (pick up, experience and return). At all times, the crew kept us well hydrated, and as this was the Mauritian winter period, the crowd was less. Atmosphere was chilled, but there was music.The food was good, but there was not enough BBQ which was amazing. However, there was lots of drink!!There was time for snorkeling at the start. However, the beach at il aux cerfs (apologies if I have got the spelling completely wrong) was a bit too much, and there was not much to do there.Definitely a recommended activity, but maybe find a cheaper price, if you can.

We booked our experience (2 adults and two teenage daughters) via the holiday company. NB. Personally I think this was overpriced. However, the experience of the day and the hosts (Captain Roody, Billy? and Nando) was exceptional. They looked after everyone on the catamaran and to Ill Aux Cerf and back.They took us snorkeling and via the waterfall, which could not get too close as it was a big vessel and then to Ils Aux Cerf for our own time.Travel to there was via the holiday company.Food from the BBQ was amazing although more chicken would have been appreciated. However, the drinks did keep following!!!However, you go, this is a must do experience... Just get the right price.

I eventually chose this option after it was recommended to me, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the decision. From the very beginning, the team was absolutely wonderful. They helped my mum every step of the way with such patience, kindness, and genuine care. My mum has arthritis and both of my parents are elderly, so I was naturally concerned about their comfort and whether they would be well looked after. I needn't have worried at all. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate their needs, making sure they were comfortable, supported, and able to fully enjoy the experience. What touched me most was how kind and considerate everyone was. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they treated my parents with such warmth and respect. It truly made all the difference. There was also an incredible variety of drinks, snacks, and food available throughout the day, and everything was well organised and thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable and offered excellent value for money. Thank you so much for helping make my parents' day so special. Seeing them happy, comfortable, and creating wonderful memories together meant the world to me. They came home smiling and talking about their experience, and that is something I will always be grateful for. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those looking for a caring and accommodating experience for elderly family members. Thank you again for making it such a memorable day for my mum and dad. ❤️

Super tour, nice team. The day was a complete success.

The tour is awesome. However we were flattered by the kind of hospitality provided by the boat staff, they were so polite and friendly, which made our trip even more fun and enjoyable. We were with a toddler and they did everything possible to help us feel home.

Great service, great crew and no crowded catamaran. We would book here again.

We enjoyed the whole dining experience. Ribs and pulled pork with all the sides were delicious. Peach cobbler knockout. Doc & Sue will be back!
