Carmona Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

The visit is worth it.The well-preserved and well-kept necropolis surprises.Good visit and detailed by the old town of Carmona. And the best of all guide Henry of Vandalia. It gathers the best that can be asked of a good guide: professional, documented, adequate information without falling into vulgarities or pedantries.

The whole village is monumental and typically Andalusian. On the one hand walls, churches and other monuments and on the other the narrow streets and white houses and also stately palaces.

It was wonderful! It was more than expectations! I’ll recommend this tour to everyone who visits Carmona.

Fabulous tour with Enrique! We all enjoyed learning the history of Carmona. As well as what is happening today. We had a wonderful day because there were not many tourists…the city of Carmona is charming. We would love to stay in Carmona the next time we’re in Spain to fully immerse and enjoy this hidden gem. Carmona has a fascinating and unique history. Enrique as a native really brought it to life. He is an excellent guide with a wonderful spirit!

The day started nervously as we were staying in Seville, and when we booked the tour (months ago) the meeting point was listed as Necropolis main gate, Street name, Carmona, Seville. However we soon discovered that Carmona was about 35km from Seville. So, some frantic research, and we found that we can catch the bus to Carmona. On Arrival in Carmona, we found our Guide who informed us that the rules had changed and we could not visit the Necropolis, nor could we go into the Colosseum opposite. But our Guide Luis, informed us that we would go through the town and look at the Fortress and the mines. Well, what a tour it turned out to be. It was informative with beautiful views and left us excited about what we had chose. It gave us a fantastic insight about Carmona and we would certainly encourage others to do this tour.
