Great experience! Didn't see any whales but seen a lot of Dolphins. Boat was sturdy and the crew was very helpful. Will be coming back next time I go to San Diego.

This trip was amazing! We saw many many dolphins and 5 whales! The captain went out of his way to make sure we saw some whales-a clad and cow-and then found 3 more! I highly recommend this trip

The old church and the museum are absolutely outstanding. The museum tour does an excellent job of telling the story of the structures, the indigenous Americans, and the Spanish Franciscans who lived and worked here during the mission era, as well as story of decay and renovation that followed. This a must-see on a trip to the Oceanside/Carlsbad area.

Wow! You can’t do better than a guided tour with a local surfing legend. If you want to hit all the scenic sites and hear the inside scoop on the history and lore of the Encinitas coast you’ve got to embark on this tour. Make sure you stop at the Swami botanical gardens along the way!!

Karch is a great guy and we had an awesome time surfing with him. There were two of us in our party and both absolute beginners. Karch was was very patient explaining the basics and getting us to practice on the beach before getting us into the water so we could see what surfing is all about. If you’re from the UK, surfing in the Pacific Ocean is a bit of a bucket list item - at least for me - and Karch was the perfect teacher. His communication was friendly and prompt and the equipment we used was high quality with my wetsuit being brand new. We surfed off Cardiff Beach which was a great spot for beginners and enabled us to figuratively find our feet with rolling waves that gave us plenty of opportunity to try out our new moves. I hope to go back someday and if Karch is up for another round of surfing with a couple of beginners then so are we!
