Hector is so sweet, knowledgeable and energetic - great attitude, funny, and fun to hang out with! He's a local and speaks excellent English as well. He's also very passionate about the local area and it's history. Lovely to spend a morning with him!

Ricardo was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Campeche and the region. The tour was around 2.5 hours or so.

Edzna is a must see and there is no better way than to see it with a local guide. I had an exceptional guide named Hector. His depth of knowledge of the site and the Mayan people was truly impressive and only increased my appreciation of how amazing Edzna is. Hector was a joy to be around and you could really feel the love he has for his history and culture.

This was an amazing experience to be able to fully understand the rich culture and history of Campeche by walking through the city with a local guide. My guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided a lot of insight into Campeche. It felt like you were just walking around town with a friend, a really smart friend.

Was a lovely tour. Berenice the guide was really nice and knowledgeable. Learned a lot from her about the site and the Mayan culture. Great service and would recommend this tour to everyone.

Our tour guide Verinice was excellent. Her knowledge and passion for sharing Campeche and its people history was engrossing.

We had the most amazing time with Berenice and Wilbur ( who drove us to the Edzná Mayan site). They both speak impeccable English and were just lovely people and informative guides. We were picked up at our hotel and when we got to the site had a leasurely walk though to the entrance and enjoyed some bird watching, which continued through the tour which was wonderful as one of our party is a birder. The site was a perfect size for a 2 hour visit. we were able to walk up the structures ( unlike many of the Mayan sites), and we learned so much about the Culture and practices. As we were in essence private group we were able to enjoy a good meal at a town a little outside of Edna. Fantastic fresh fruit and fresh baked corn bread. Finally we were dropped at the bus station to get back to Mérida. They run a travel company Chelita Travel Campeche, and highly recommend booking other tours and travel with them.If back go to the fort and Mayan museum - glorious place for a sunset over the Atlantic.

The guide (whose name I could not pronounce) did a fantastic job. It was Christmas Day so I’m sure it was difficult for her. We had a thorough tour of places inside, on and outside the wall. She was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great evening on the water, suggest hotel pickup, and have them stop for a warm charro at the end, or a picture at the illuminated Cetro Church. Very nice guide and captain.

We were in town for one night only. Hector's tour was great, and he is energetic and full of stories. As a local, he knows the history and clearly loves his hometown. Highly recommend.

It was a long day but well worth it. Our guide and driver Alfonso was very knowledgeable and we had lots of interesting discussions about the sites and also Mexica in general. This made the 4 hour car journey pass much more quickly. He was also an excellent driver - especially in heavy rain on our return. Our English speaking guide was also extremely informative.

We took the tour to Calakmul from Campeche. Then we toured the Rio Bec sites (Chicanna, Becan and Xpujil) with the subsequent visit to the 20th of November Community where you will visit some craft workshops (working with seeds, honey and wood). Then we took the transport from Xpujil to Campeche stopping at the site of Balamku. The 3 guides (Roberto in Calakmul, Ángel in Río Nec and Manuel in Balamku) very friendly and knowledgeable, especially of local fauna and flora. We stayed 2 nights at Casa Maran hotel in Xpujil which is clean but very basic. The rooms have no light and natural ventilation but are very spacious. The vehicles to go from Campeche to Xpujil very good, the only one but we put is that the driver in the transfer Xpujil / Campeche brought from “co pilot” a companion who also showed no consideration (arrived approximately 40 minutes late the car, was his companion in the co-pilot seat and did not ask if anyone wanted to sit in that place or if those behind her had enough space, had the seat traveled until the back )

Bernice our tour guide was Awesome! So knowledgeable about the history and culture of Campeche! We learned a lot about this charming city! Great way to kick off our weekend here. Especially loved our dinner at the end in San Francisco barrio. This tour is a must!
