Brac Island Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Absolutely a five star experience. You will never see parts of the island any other way and with this tour. Make sure to get Martin as your tour guide.

We had an absolutley amazing wonderful time on our boat tour in Croatia. Our guides Jelena and captain Kazimir was very friendly and took us to some fantastic hidden bays and lovely islands like Hvar. We just wished for more time at each stop ;) Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Croatia!

This review is for the 10 hour sea cruise to Blue Cave, Komiza, Stiniva Bay, Blue Lagoon, Pakleni Island and Hvar. September 2026.We had an early start on a beautiful sunny Thursday morning, where we were to meet the boat in the centre of Milna. The Sea You boat arrived on time and we were escorted onto the craft by our crew members Vanessa (Captain) and guide Fani. A warm welcome and some information about safety and the boats ammenities were provided as we we started our trip. The boat we were on was a Aliskaf luxury speedboat. It can hold 12 guests and 2 crew. It was sleek and comfortable with a fridge for drinks, comfortable seating and a good sound system. However, this boat is a wolf in sheep's clothing because out of sight and under the water is very impressive 480 HP engine. And at only 11.25 metres long this boat is fast. As we left the calm waters of Milna harbour we headed out to our first port of call which was the Blue Cave. Although it was a warm and sunny day there was a pesistant wind which did impact the 45 minute crossing to the Blue Cave. Vanessa did her very best to keep the boat as steady as possible, but it was a bumpy ride which I do enjoy. It was exhilarating and fun but unfortunately for a couple of the guests, it wasn't, and they couldn't keep their early breakfasts down. The professionalism of the crew to assist with the seasickness of the guests was superb. Thankfully, after that initial crossing to the Blue Cave the rest of our tour was sea sick free. The Blue cave was very impressive. Komiza on the island of Vis was a beautiful location for a stroll and a coffee. All through our ports of call, Fani provided friendly and infomative information about the history and points of interest. We cruised to Stinva Bay and then onto the stunning Blue Lagoon. On this occasion the lagoon was quiet and we had a super snorkelling and swimming stop. The crystal turquoise Adriatic certainly gives the Carribean a run for it's money. We then moved onto the Pakleni islands and then to Hvar. The itinerary of this trip was outstanding. The crew were fantastic and I would like to take the opportunity to thank Vanessa and Fani for their professionalism and making our trip a memorable one . I love boats, and cruising the sea. I have been on many boat trips over the years, but this one in particular was one of the best.

Very safe, smooth, and comfortable ride across the island. The driver was extremely pleasant and professional, sharing interesting stories and local facts about Brač along the way. Highly recommended!

Brilliant full day tour from Split with a great, informative tour guide, stunning locations & comfortable boat ride between all the stops! Couldn’t recommend highly enough & well worth the cost for a full day out.

The Blue Cave was breathtaking, but the trip itself was just as enjoyable — beautiful scenery, crystal-clear sea, and a great atmosphere throughout the day.Everything was well organized, and the crew Jelena and Kazimir were friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. It was the perfect way to spend a day on the Adriatic.Highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Croatia!

A perfect day on the sea! We booked a private tour and everything was amazing from start to finish. Beautiful places, crystal-clear water, a great boat and an excellent skipper. Definitely one of the highlights of our holiday!

We spontaneously decided on a taxi ride across the island of Brač and had an excellent driver in Petar, who introduced us to many beautiful places on the island with great expertise and local knowledge. A great day, entertaining and interesting. Would do it again anytime....

Great trip. Well organised! Speedboat was comfortable for sun and shade.Bottled water was available.Left from Milna and first stop was Komiza for 45 mins before the Blue Caves to avoid wait times at Vis Island. Beautiful little town were we stopped for a leisurely walk and drink.The blue caves were magnificent and didn’t disappoint. Beautiful rocks and crystal blue water.Onto the Blue Lagoon after a short stop at Stivina beach with its award winning beach and cliffs to then swim and snorkel before going on to Hvar. A bustling town with great views, bars and restaurants as well as historic buildings.Back to Split. Anadolinna and Kacey were magnificent hosts and played music throughout and were great guides re: informative information..Suggestions to make the trip even better. Microphone for guide to speak when boat moving as difficult to hear and maybe some fresh fruit or drinks inc in package.A great trip. Highly recommended.

Jelena and Kazimir allowed us to spend an unforgettable day. Sincerity and generosity characterize them. The landscapes are wonderful. Change of scenery guaranteed far from the hustle and bustle of the cities. A great breath of fresh air and humility in the face of such vast and beautiful nature. I recommend it

Two friends travelling, took this tour and got a great insight into the island in a unique 4x4 Martin was a great guide, we sampled some lovely family wine at a beautiful location for a swim, the trip was filled with lots of family & island history. The tour included the fabulous Olive oil museum & tasting; the highest point Vodova Gora, beautiful views of Bol & the other islands; views & history of the Blaca Hermitage, monastery complex and school; completed with a fantastic meal at Konoba nono Deslav, Podhume.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to fly with SplitAir and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see Split and the islands from above with amazing pilot Matko

Really happy with our Rent a boat Milna experience!We rented the Cayman Deluxe and the boat was in top shape – clean, well equipped, comfortable, and super easy to handle, which made for a really relaxed day out on the water.Booking was smooth and easy, no hassle at all. Ivan, the owner, was really friendly, flexible, and always ready to help or give advice.All in all – a perfect day at sea! Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back in the future 🤩

Rented one of the Betina boats to explore the coastline around Milna. Great communication prior to the actual hire day, and paid on pick up. They prefer cash, but happy with card too. We were able to pick up the boat at a time convenient to us. Ivan even brought it over to just by our hotel so we didn’t have to walk far in the heat. He gave us clear instructions about everything we needed to know (neither of us had driven a boat before) along with a map showing a route suggestion (which we followed). We had a wonderful day visiting many secluded bays, only accessible by boat. We snorkelled lots from the boat (relatively easy to get in & out via a small, retractable ladder), and stopped for a quick lunch in konoba Vala in Bobovisca (also recommended by Ivan). We had a wonderful day & would highly recommend it!

We had a great day hiring the Betina boat to explore the Western side of Brač Island starting at Milna. We explored many coves and stopped for swimming, it was so much fun! Ivan met us and explained how to operate the boat which was very easy. Ivan was very easy to contact before the trip and the day of the trip. He was very friendly and a great person to meet on our travels. I recommend this trip to anyone visiting Milna, Hvala Ivan! ☺️
