Bovec 2026 Calendar of Events

This was the perfect whitewater rafting experience. Picturesque backdrop of the Julien Alps, crystal clear and refreshing water and a great guide to navigate our raft into the rapids. Thanks Flo!

We had a fantastic time; our guide was great and taught us a lot. In addition to the rafting itself, we went for a swim and jumped into the stunningly blue river. We even turned the raft into a slide.

Very thrilling route, was first time and guide was well enough to guide me but has very strong accent to understand first. As a first timer experience , its completely different than the motor bike in the corners.

Fantastic experience. The instructors were amazing. They were so reassuring talented and positive. They made the whole trip a really memorable experience. The views in the river were stunning too. The whole group loved it and wanted to do it again.

We had actually booked the family rafting tour since it was our first rafting tour with our 4 1/2-year-old daughter. The guides advised us, however, and we were able to join the standard tour. Everything worked out great and it was huge fun :)

There are so many companies that you can kayak or raft with in the Soca Valley but my vote goes to Aqua Tours Bovec. We had a great time rafting on the river with our guide Andraz. The equipment was good, the wetsuits clean. The base is in a quiet village location with great free parking and good facilities. Although the water was low which we expected due to it being August and the long hot summer, the company made sure that the trip was still fun adding in extra elements such as an optional jump off a high rock, sliding down the upturned raft into the river, and a float along the quieter water. There was still some white water to make it fun. Andraz took some nice photos to give us memories of the trip which are included in the price, not like some operators. If you're looking to kayak or raft in the Soca Valley you can't go wrong with this company

I wanted to have my partner try the quad bike. For her, it was the first time, and the guide patiently explained to her how to drive it. The ride was supposed to be an hour long, but after a few minutes, a thunderstorm arrived. The guide was kind and made himself available to stop and continue the next morning. Recommended!

Pure adrenaline - for all who want a somewhat different view

We are a family of 4 (kids 7 and 9) and went kayaking with Camilla. We had a wonderful time - we weren't sure how the kids would get on in their own kayaks but they had the opportunity to practice in an area with no current and a quick go down some small rapids. The youngest wasn't quite good enough on his own so his kayak was tied on to Camillas' and he had a wonderful time being pulled along by her down the rapids. Our oldest had some good instructions from Camilla and managed on her own. We were really happy with the balance of providing them with some freedom/adventure vs. making sure they were safe. The kayaking itself was wonderful. Good equipment and absolutely glorious views. We all thought it was the highlight of the holiday so far (although we are rafting with the same company this afternoon so might be trumped!) Really lovely experience and really happy we went with Camilla and Soca Adventures.

We had an absolutely fantastic canyoning experience! It was so much fun from start to finish.A special thank you to our guide, Mirka. She was professional, friendly, and made us feel safe and confident throughout the entire trip. She explained everything clearly, encouraged us when needed, and made the experience even more enjoyable with her enthusiasm and positive attitude.We would highly recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Bovec. It was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday!

A fantastic experience. Guides are so knowledgeable and welcoming. We now know so much more about different mushrooms and how to identify them. Cooking everything that we collected afterwards together was an additional bonus. Can't recommend enough.

Best experience ever, my girlfriend and I had so much fun. Mateus was an amazing guide and we felt very safe. We were lucky enough to have the canyon to ourselves as well. 10/10 would recommend! Quite a steep hike at the start so be prepared for some exercise 😂
