Blenheim 2026 Calendar of Events

Perfect day of riding around this beautiful vineyards area. E-bikes were comfortable and easy to use even as a non-cyclist. Mostly off road and the public roads pretty quiet. Lots to see and of course the wine tastings!

5 star service! Even though I didn’t rent a bike from these guys, my friends did and they gave us the full experience.Ben gave us some good recommendations for wineries in the area and was extremely patient with us.Can’t recommend these guys enough. Plus, he kept my jacket safe when I forgot it after one too many wines!

The collection of WWI & WW2 is astounding to say the least, especially the WW1 aircraft and artifices. Displays are world class and informative. The WW2 displays are equally impressive but don’t yet have the quantity of the WW1 collection. The movie about the Russian loses fighting to win back Stalingrad makes you sit up and think.

Hosted by Darlene, we were exposed to a memorable tour of 4 vineyards in Blenheim. She went out of our way to accomodate our tastes and other requirements. She is extremly knowledable about wine production (having qualified worked in the industry for a number of years) and we all learnt numerous new facts about wine. Nothing was too hard for Darlene and we unreservedly recommend Hop n Grapes, especially Darlene, to anyone looking for a wine trail guide.

Our tour was splendid. Darlene, our driver and guide, was very knowledgeable and oh so nice! The winery selection was varied and all the hosts were great. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful day exploring/peddling around Blenheim and the surrounding countryside. The family enjoyed their e-bikes, we had fabulous weather and were able to visit 4 wineries and have a fabulous lunch at Alan Scott bistro. Excellent bikes, safety briefing and professional guide who made wonderful recommendations.

Riding a bike through the Marlborough vineyards was a sort of bucket list item for me and Wine by Bike helped make it happen!Lorelle gave us a detailed map with lots of guidance and suggestions. Without her I wouldn’t have known about the flood bank which had great views of the river and the valley!I probably could have gotten any old bike and rode around for less money, but the support and guidance was priceless!Shout out to Hans Herzog, The Vine Cafe, and Nautilus!

Fab day, well organised, good bikes. Picked up from our house by Lorelle & given bikes for our sizes. Gave us a map with vineyards on. We did wine tasting & had an amazing lunch at Alan Scott’s! When we bought wine at each vineyard we told them our tour group & it was picked up for us & taken to the cycle tour centre for us to collect at the end of the day. Greg then gave us a lift back home. They are a lovely, fun welcoming couple. Thoroughly recommend.

An excellent tour hosted by Jim doing tasting at 4 premium Wineries and lunch at another. Jim is very knowledgeable and had great connections at all the wineries which allowed a great conversation. Even when I had pretty basic questions. Great wine and I learnt a lot - awesome host and experience. Highly recommended !

Sherri was a brilliant tour guide. Would highly recommend her ! We had a great time experiencing 4 vineyards. She was full of knowledge and gave us great tips. The pick up and drop off service was great !

The best aviation museum I have been to. It has displays that you cannot see elsewhere made more entertaining by the lifelike diorama settings of sone. If you like historical aircraft Omaka should be on you list to visit.
