You could tell Michael thought about everything to make your experience in the Holy Land smooth and educational. From the waters he provided, to the taste of local cuisine(Arabian coffee, bananas, dates etc) One lesson I won’t forget from the church of the shepherds at Bethlehem is that Jesus is the good shepherd and doesn’t care if you are a white sheep a black sheep or an ugly sheep, He is going to come rescue you if you are lost.It was a blessing to meet Michael and highly recommend his services.

From Bethlehem to Jericho and everywhere in between, this was not just a tour. It was a transformation.We came to the Holy Land as pilgrims from the United States hoping to see the sites. What we got was something far beyond that. Michael gave us an understanding of the people, the life, and the layered history of this region that you simply cannot get without standing on that ground yourself. His knowledge is extraordinary, and we mean that across the board.He gets the Biblical story down in a way that will stop you in your tracks. But what truly sets him apart is everything beyond that. The long standing traditions, local interpretations, and stories passed down over generations that never made it into any religious book you have ever read. That knowledge lives here, in this land, in these people, and Michael carries it with him like a gift he is happy to share.And then theres who he knows. Doors opened for us that don't open for everyone. At multiple sites, strings were pulled, access was granted, and moments were created, all because Michael has spent a lifetime building real relationships with the people of this land. No travel app or group bus tour gives you that.But the moment that will stay with us longest? He invited us into his family home for a meal. Warm, generous, joyful, and completely real. Sitting at that table we weren't tourists anymore. We were guests. It warmed our hearts in a way that no monument ever could.The Palestinian Christian community that Michael represents is resilient, generous, rooted in deep faith, and absolutely beautiful. I managed to book a halfday tour in Bethlehem on a very short notice with Michael. He helped to understand the entry requirements and guided me with the directions already before i got to cross the checkpoint on my own and meet him.I was nervous about the tensions in the region but Michaels guidance helped me feel safe. He seemed to have access some places where tourist groups usually dont go (such as some parts of the Church) and he was incredibly knowledgeable with the history. I would 100% recommend the tour to everyone and now could even be a good time to visit for less crowded sightseeing when the tourism hasnt fully relaunched in the area. Halfday tour was a great idea because I was short of time and even though the short time, he made me feel like I managed to see a lot in that time. Thank you so much!

This experience is amazing. Our guide in Bethlehem was really knowledgeable of the sites while making the explanations clear for all audiences, knew his way around the sites and adjusted logistics properly to avoid as much as possible the larger crowds. For the Jericho portion we went with our driver/guide who was beyond friendly and made the trip even more enjoyable, from sharing fresh baklava to even giving us a small gift to thank our visit. For those worried about safety, going with the tour provided a stronger sense of security since the drivers and guides are locals and they take great care of visitors. You not only learn about the most important sites in history but also get to learn their stories.

Michael is a well prepared and versed guide on all things related to Palestine, kind, informed, smart and resourceful. My tour allowed me to visit some of the most important cultural, religious and historic places across the West Bank with the best company. Highly recommended!

The tour was great. The guides are very knowledgeable and passionate about Bethlehem and Jericho and also provided information about the complex geopolitical dynamics between Israelis and Palestinians. I felt safe with the tour group as a single woman in the West Bank. Ladies, dress conservatively. Anyone touring in the West Bank should bring his or her passport AND the paper Stay Permit card issued by Border/Passport Control at the Ben Gurion airport. Travelling to and from the West Bank involves check points, and you may be checked for entry back to the Israeli side.

Michael is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He did great on our tour to Jericho and Bethlehem and he was flexible with our programme. He offers an fantastic perspective into both the past and present. Highly recommended.

Michael was very knowledgeable about the history and also knew the area extremely well. I felt very comfortable in a very unfamiliar area with his guidance. He made the trip much more enriching for my kids and I.

If you would like to get know Bethlehem one day, do this with Michael! He is a great guide, I liked every minute of being with him and I felt great about our tour. We saw so many interesting places in Bethlehem (even though not all of them are happy places as well). Please also take the chance of having lunch with a family, it will be a great culinary pleasure and a heart-warming experience. Don‘t worry about taking the bus from Jerusalem and ride back by bus: it‘s easy and interesting as well. Hopefully, I can come back one day taking another tour with Michael!

Due to the war, the tour was a tour to Bethlehem only. It was nice having a private tour like to the places listed. The Church of the Nativity, the milk grotto, and etc was such a spiritual and amazing experience that I do not think anyone will ever have. I had the place to myself. It was so beautiful. Thank you to Elias for everything. He was so funny, a comedian, informative, chill, and awesome guide. Helped me a lot on this trip. Thank you. I can only imagine what it would have been like if I was able to go to the other two locations. Highly recommend this tour!!

Michael was both a terrific guide and an engaging person. He gave us exactly what we wanted, which was an in-depth exploration of the history and ethnology of this ancient hub of religions and civilizations. He also adapted the tour to us specifically: We had no desire to float in the Dead Sea, so he showed us St. Gerassimus' Monastery instead. He skillfully worked around the tour groups (which tend to obstruct individual visitors because of their numbers), giving us a full and intimate experience of each site.
