Beautiful scenery, David is from the area and very knowledgeable on the art and the caves as well as aspects of life 30,000 years ago. The experience was fun, interactive and informative. Really extraordinary walking through a cave and seeing the drawings.

David was able to adjust and customize our adventure. I would highly recommend this tour and David as a guide.

Good way to get an introduction to the valley. If you have a car, you can return to the areas of most interest. Very informative . You don’t spend a lot of time in the small towns, but you get a good feel if you want to return

Really fun experience! We sprung for the Sarlat shuttle pickup as we didn’t have a car for €10 per person and that worked wonderfully.I would recommend anyone going to bring water shoes and a picnic to have the best time. They do hourly pickups until 6pm at the arrival point so there’s no stress in getting there

A very pretty and picturesque tour of a few villages in the Dordogne with the magnificent Château de Beynac to visit another time and a sublime and relaxing discovery of La Roque-Gageac by gabare. The pickup by the guide Léna was very friendly and comfortable with an effort to speak French.... With me alone!! I recommended Ophorus to my friends and I am going to do another guided tour (especially since it also compensates for the lack of local public transport)! Vincent Fonteneau

A really brilliant trip, such fun! I rode on the back of my husbands quad which was great for me. I did try but didn’t feel confident enough and this was fine, Our guide was very good, looked after us, was very informative and had a good sense of humour. He was extremely competent and we felt very safe. Wood def do again.

The whole experience was fantastic. It met and exceeded expectations with some wonderful routes and scenery all highlighted by a really helpful guide Nicolia. It was exhilarating from the start and having done all sorts of bikes tours , it was something very different and exciting. Thank you to Nicholia who was a great guide and wonderful host serving us refreshments and a bit to eat post the trip. We all throughly enjoyed it.

David was excellent. This private tour was flexible. David was so knowledgable. We made several unscheduled stops for local sights (such as the bridge built by Eiffel which we walked across for the views). We knew we had a private cave tour with him the next morning and we were lucky enough that he had a recent cancellation for his afternoon so we booked him for a medieval and castle tour. After a short briefing on how to handle it, a superb ride on the trails, in the woods, and through the vineyards. Superb viewpoints and a great experience driving a quad bike as a family. Nico is a great and attentive guide. The final tasting is very enjoyable upon returning to recover from these emotions.

This is an in-depth explanation of cheeses, duck/goose products, the history of medieval Sarlat. The tastings were thoughtfully prepared and very good. Lena did an excellent job with each option. She was equally conversing for our group in English and French as we had a mixed group. Lena made it easy to get to know the other tourists. Our group became quite friendly and we did 2 other tours together. It was such fun! Before you eat and try to shop take this tour with Lena so you can understand what things to look for to get exactly what you want out of your entire experience!
