We had a fantastic time on our pintxos tour with Gabi! She was incredibly informative, fun, and gave us a great introduction to Basque food and culture. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and she brought us to some wonderful local spots we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own.The food was delicious, the wine and cider were excellent, and we finished the tour delightfully full. Gabi made the whole experience relaxed, interesting, and genuinely enjoyable.We absolutely loved our time in San Sebastián, and this tour was one of the highlights of our visit. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic day with Alby visiting Bilbao, the Guggenheim Museum and Gaztelugatxe. It was a great way to see more of the Basque Country and we really enjoyed the whole day.Alby was a brilliant guide. He was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable, and shared his knowledge in such an interesting and easy way. Being an Aussie was an added bonus for us and made the day even more enjoyable!Everything was well organised and we never felt rushed. It was a really memorable day and we would definitely recommend this tour and Alby to anyone visiting the area.

Ines was a fantastic guide, she was incredibly knowledgeable and shared great insights about the Basque culture and history. She gave us good recommendations to check out afterwards and was accommodating of my dietary needs which I really appreciated! We loved some of the stops that were different than a normal tour and really stood out. I highly recommend.

Laura from Bodega Izadi gave us a fascinating and very memorable tour of the enterprise. As it is harvest time we saw the whole wine making process from delivery of the grapes through to fermentation and ageing, visiting five floors in the building. We even saw a young apprentice wine maker treading grapes in the process of creating a new wine, good fun! We ended with a tasting of three of the Izadi fine wines with tasty finger food. We loved Laura’s enthusiasm, deep knowledge and humour. Her English was excellent and she answered all our questions so fluently. We both highly recommend this tour and the Izadi wines

It's a good introduction to local specialties such as foie gras and shark that I might not have tried on my own.

What a great experience this was… not just for the delicious food and drinks along the way, but also such fascinating insights into the stories and culture of Bilbao, both historical and contemporary. Our guide Paul was super friendly, knowledgeable and a great host. Heads up…Don’t eat before you go! There’s so much on offer and you’ll want to try it all.

My wife and I did this day trip and the guide we had was Alby. The tour itself is great and a really enjoyable day. The Dragonstone walk is quite steep so I recommend taking water and even a change of shirt or deodorant if it’s a hot day. There is plenty of time to walk it though so whilst it’s challenging you can absolutely stop as much as you like. The view is worth the trek though. The lunch in Bilbao was excellent and Guggenheim was good. The timing for the day was right with nothing feeling rushed. If you get a chance ask for Alby as your guide. He was a brilliant tour guide and made the day what it was - really enjoyable. He was really informative and provided great information during the day. The lunch spot he chose was outstanding and he was a brilliant host. Can’t rate him highly enough. Overall I’d highly recommended this tour.

A great way to spend a day learning about the history of the Basque people in Spain. Jose is very knowledgable and quite friendly. Would highly recommend this tour.

We’ve now done two tours with The Good Tour Company, and both were exceptional! Our first trip was to La Rioja with Jimi, the owner, and our second was to Lourdes with Alex. Everything about both tours was absolute perfection—flawless organization, great local knowledge, and fantastic company. Highly recommend!

This was a private tour with Jose as our guide. It was just what we were looking for. It was relaxing, but very well organized, and there were opportunities for us to change the activity of the tour and how much walking we did, or how many stairs we walked. It was a nice day, but it was threatening to rain and it had rained overnight so some of the pathways that we went on in the morning were slippery. We appreciated Jose being flexible with us. As well, he had a very interesting presentation about politics and the governance of the Basque country as it related to Spain. He had many restaurant suggestions for us for Bilbao. We would highly recommend Jose‘s tour.

The whole visit was very interesting. It also happened that the harvest was starting, so we were able to see the winery in operation. The final tasting, in the same room as the barrels, makes the experience unforgettable. The attention from our guide, Joanna, is worth highlighting.
