Great! Highly recommended surf school in Peniche
Highly recommended! From the first contact you notice that DE ze m ENsen want to convey passion and the art of surfing. Clear EN friendly communication in advance, warm welcome on site. DAN sufficient and the parking and an outdoor shower to rinse off the excess sand afterwards. During DE lessons you will not only learn how to surf, but you will also be presented with the necessary warming exercises as safety rules. Even the correct handling of the material is an important point that is discussed. Elke EN was supervrienDE corpse and the coaches are really top. We immediately booked a second session after a first session. That was also no problem for Surf Mama School. 👌

Learned so quickly as focused on just us
Fantastic surf experience by a family including a teen. First, Surf Mama school is great in their communications — timely and detailed on where to meet and what to expect. Second, our teacher (Alex) was super friendly and excellent in his instructions; short theory on the beach then learning while doing. Last, next to us there was a big group while we were with just us: you could see how much more and quicker we learned because all the attention was for us. Thank you!

Never thought Mara would learn to surf!
Fred was fantastic as a surf instructor and also as a mountivator. Mara is 13 and hadn't had swimming lessons at school because of corona. So she learned to swim late and privately. It was great to see her getting safer and safer in the water. Fred and his team not only “pushed” the kids into the wave but also taught surfing with everything like wave science and paddling on yourself.....thanks a lot! 🙏

We had a surf lesson with the instructor Miguel, who explained very clearly the basic principles for us to be able to surf for the first time.
I highly recommend it to those who have never tried it, since we were only 4 students per instructor, which allows more attention to each student.

Great teacher
Maria is an amazing teacher and has local knowledge of the area. She was patient and went through a lot of the theory around surfing, which may sound boring but it was delivered in an engaging way and definitely helped me understand better what I'm trying to do when in the water. I highly recommend taking some lessons with her if you're in the Baleal area

Just great!
Just great, we couldn’t have better teacher. Before the first lesson, I really didn’t want to go surfing and I was afraid (especially because of the waves), but Ines is so great that she let me understand that there’s no place for fear and at the end of the lesson I really enjoyed it and the fear was away. I’m looking forward for the next lessons.

Surf guide and lessons by Surfmama
Maria was my surf guide and surf trainer for a couple of weeks during my stay in Peniche area. She showed me many good surf spots in the area while she gave me tips and recommendations to improve my surfing. After a few days, I experienced how my surfing greatly improved. Maria took the effort to film my surfing and analyse my stance and technique. Overall, these days with Maria had provided me lessons which I'll be practising for many years to come. I couldn't recommend highly enough Maria for beginner and intermediate surfers who want to improve their surfing.
