We had a wonderful day hiking around Cairngorms National Park, thanks to the thoughtful planning by our awesome guide, Si. He worked around challenging weather conditions and some knee problems my wife was having to plan a hike that met our goals for the day. He even found the perfect spot for my wife to do some wild swimming, which provided the highlight of her Scotland adventure. Si stayed in touch leading up to our hike, monitoring the weather and adjusting the plan accordingly, and he was a pleasure to hike with when the day came. If you can work with Si for your hiking in the Cairngorms, you will be in good hands!

Fantastic family rock climbing experience – highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We went on a family group rock climbing experience in Moray today, with children ranging from 11 to 16, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day.Si was our instructor and was absolutely brilliant. He worked so well with such a wide range of ages and abilities, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Whenever any of us struggled, he was incredibly patient, encouraging and supportive, helping everyone feel comfortable and giving us the confidence to keep trying.We got to experience different levels of rock climbing, were given the opportunity to abseil into a cave, and were also taught how to belay. It was a brilliant mix of activities and meant there was something for everyone in the family.Si really made the experience a day to remember. We all had such a fantastic time and would definitely come back when we decide to do another rock climbing experience.Highly recommend — especially for a family looking for something fun, active and a little bit adventurous!

Sam took me on a such an incredible and scenic trad adventure in the northern highlands! I decided to book with Everyday Climbing as a boulderer looking to get more experience with ropes outdoors. Sam made sure I felt super safe and comfortable throughout the experience, even with my beginner knowledge. He was an excellent guide, very calculated and helpful. We called before hand to check in about weather, my skill level, and what to expect on the crag. I feel so grateful to have been in such good hands. Thank you for the best trip Sam! I’ll remember it forever. And thanks too for the biscuit :)

Hiking In the Cairngorms was a highlight of my UK adventure. Cameron, my exceptionally qualified guide, combined my interests and skill level, and chose a perfect hike: multiple types of terrain, sweeping vistas and a knockout view at the peak! He checked in with me making sure i had what i needed, pointed out historical sites, and was just a pleasant easy-going companion. Thank you Cameron, Cool Destinations, and the rigorous training Scotland requires of its nature guides! Im very grateful.

We had the most magical day in the woods with Matt as our guide. From the moment we first contacted him to arrange our day out, he was professional, warm, and accommodating to come up with the best experience for our group. As soon as we met him we felt right at home, and we enjoyed a beautiful walk in the woods full of fun stories (and a scavenger hunt!) for the kids, information about the surroundings for the adults, and a treat of coffee and hot chocolate by the loch. Absolutely a highlight of our trip to Scotland!

We had such an Amazing time with Matt, the whole walk was enjoyable from start to finish. He was incredibly patient and adjusted the pace perfectly to suit us, which made tge experience relaxed and comfortable. What truly made the special was Matt's storytelling and deep knowledge of the area. He shared so many stories about the Loch and the surrounding mountains that made the landscape feel even more magical. My personal favourite was the stoty of the fairy king🧚. Had the extreme pleasure of Gavin leading the Tour yesterday. Arrived in plenty of time for pickup in an immaculately presented BMW X7. We headed northbound on the A9 to Clynelish Distillery passing some of the most wonderful scenery in Northern Scotland. Arrived at the Distillery in plenty time for the tour where Gavin made the introductions and left us to partake in the Experience. After Clyneish we headed to Dornoch Castle Hotel for lunch where there was a huge choice from the menu but we all chose the home made pizzas. They come highly recommended. After lunch we then headed to Glen Ord distillery for some further education. Again Gavin was spot on with his recommendations, even to the extent that I treated myself to a self-bottled Singleton Of Ord. Throughout the tour Gavin displayed excellent knowledge, not only of the distilleries but of all the local areas and historical facts. He obviously has a passion for delivering top quality service, and a wee tip, if he offers you a wee square of white chocolate, take it as there is better to follow!!! I have no problem throughly recommending Gavin and Inverness Whisky Tours and would give it a 10/10 rating. Give him a shout, you won't be disappointed.

It was wonderful. Our tour guide and driver was just fantastic. I feel that the person who runs the program should be a little more communicative.

This tour was a great way to see parts of Scotland in a customizable way, without worry about driving or needing to plan much. We appreciated the coordination of tickets and activities before the tour and even day of when we wanted to pivot, with suggestions for us to chose from. The chocolate and whisky pairings were a lovely bonus. Our guide, Peter, was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the day unforgettable.

I organised a couple of tours for clients visiting from the USA. They were full of praise for grand tours and thought the whole experience with them was exceptional. Lewis, their driver, left them with memories they will treasure forever. His encyclopedic knowledge of the area, along with wonderful and engaging stories of the land and the people kept them entertained all day. 5 stars.

Spent a fabulous day in Speyside visiting 3 distilleries and enjoying the countryside. Highly recommend Whiskywheels. Driver was excellent.

Sam is the best guide I’ve ever had in my decades of winter mountaineering. He’s the safest guide I know who continuously assesses risks throughout the day. He is also a fantastic teacher — I’ve learned more from him in one day than with others in a week, from seconding to leading techniques for different situations to avalanche assessment. I’ve climbed with him in the summer and winter and he’s the first guide I would go to for any future trips.

Would highly recommend. The choice of distilleries were fantastic, with the recommendation of GlenAllachie being a real hidden gem. Euan and Damon were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. I had a memorable/brilliant few days. So much so, I'm looking to book the Islay tour for next year with friends.
