We did this tour and the reef island the day before and both are worth the time/cost. Idyllic landscapes, lots of fish, good meals, and a very good atmosphere. Thanks to captains Eva and Marius and their first mates Baboule and Igor (not sure about the latter's name) Jacqueline and Pascale

We had a great experience on this excursion. It wasn’t necessarily a snorkeling trip, but still excellent. Our guide was hilarious and super informative. The lunch they served us was delicious and plentiful. My husband was stoked they served beer!! We really enjoyed the sanctuary tour. Best of all was the zillion black tip reef sharks milling about.

We had an amazing time on this excursion. Our tour lead was hilarious and had lots of information for us. The food for lunch was delicious. We saw tons of cute little black tip reef sharks in the lagoon and got a terrific tour of the bird sanctuary. The drift snorkel was cool.

We went on both the "Reef Island" and "Blue Lagoon" excursions. It was great!Marius is wonderful! His humor, his attention to Mr. Le Maire, and the sharing of his culture and knowledge allowed us to be transported into his world for two days. The whole team is very attentive, the meals are great! The Blue Lagoon was an absolute highlight. A paradise, as beautiful as one could imagine. The guides were all in a great mood, played music at the picnic, and spread good vibes. We expected much more from the snorkeling. There are certainly nicer places for that than the one we were at. The green lagoon was also not as spectacular as hoped. But by and large, it was a dreamlike, fantastic day, absolutely recommended!!!

Great day with our guide who helped us discover the Blue Lagoon! A magical place out of time where we spent an exceptional moment. The meal… the musicians… the beauty of the lagoon, everything was perfect.

A fantastic day, accompanied by a team of truly professional guides. Discovery of the aquatic environment as well as the protected birds on the motus. A very well-prepared Tahitian meal (ma'a)... memories filling our heads 🤩 Thank youuu

An extraordinary day at the blue lagoon! We had an unforgettable experience in a magnificent setting. The guides were truly lovely, very welcoming, passionate, and always in a good mood. They contributed greatly to making this day special.The atmosphere was also great, with music, an excellent meal, and a lot of conviviality. Everything was well organized to fully enjoy this unique moment.The only small point to note concerns the boat trip, which was a bit bumpy due to the wind and rough sea. This was obviously not the fault of the team, who did their best to ensure the comfort of the passengers. They are, moreover, very well equipped for these kinds of conditions, notably with rain jackets provided when the weather is less favorable.Despite this, this excursion remains an exceptional memory that we recommend without hesitation. A superb day to experience!

Superb day!!!! The short (1h) lagoon crossing is quite bumpy, especially on the way back, but it's worth it!!! The snorkeling, the shark nursery, and the walk on the motus, everything was perfect!!! Not to mention the BBQ where we feasted on parrotfish and barracuda.

Our second time to French Polynesia, our first to Rangiroa. We did research and read reviews and went with Rangiroa Excursion and so glad we did. Captain Momo and Brandon were great. We watched travel videos of the Blue Lagoon and it was even better than we could've imagined. What a chill and amazing place. There were only seven of us + two crew. Being the only English speakers was no issue and we were made to feel right at home. It's an all day experience. I'm prone to sea sickness and took a Bonine and I was fine for the trip. It's def a bumpy ride heading back in the late afternoon. I'm also vegan and they prepared the most amazing rice, coconut bread and salad so I was fine. They made fish and chicken for the meat eaters. It's a day we'll always remember. See my photos.
