Astoria Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Katie is AWESOME. She loves her town and that comes thru in the first minute.

Our tour with Katie was exceptional! She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she is proud of where she lives. She asked our primary interests and concentrated more on that. We saw a beautiful waterfall and a very unusual tree. We visited Fort Stevens & Fort Clatsop and had a stroll through the woods. Going to the beach was fun! She used a magnet to pull the iron out of the sand, which was fascinating. In addition, she surprised us with some very unexpected treasures! Highly recommend Katie and this tour.

Tour of Astoria with Katie was awesome. First off we didn’t have to drive. Her knowledge of the area and history behind it made the experience even better. We saw more than we expected. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great fun, lots of interactions with the great people of Astoria. We cheated on some clues and used our iPhones to lookup location information. We were walking and the deal was more oriented towards people with cars so if you are walking you might want to do some preplanning. For example find the location of your first stop ahead of time.

Katie was very knowledgeable!!!! Showed us so many points of interest on the Oregon coast Had a wonderful charcuterie board for us after a short walk which was delicious.

After enjoying the Ultimate Scavenger Bellingham so much, we decided to do the one in Astoria. Just as much or more fun. Better yet, most of the places we wanted to visit were on the hunt. Hint: Send in pics and leave reviews earn points which equal free hunts. We hope to do the one in Bend, Oregon soon!

This tour was such a great way to learn more about the places we were passing along the Oregon Coast. We are based in Portland, so have been to the coast many times before, but still learned a lot from the self-guided tour. We only did the Newport to Florence section, but are excited to use this again anytime we are between Newport and Astoria!

This was a wonderful tour!! The highlight our trip to Astoria and the Oregon Coast. I’ve been on a lot of tours and Katie is one of the best, and most enjoyable, I’ve had.

This was an excellent tour. Katie, our tour guide was wonderful. She took us to several of the historic spots in the area and gave us tons of information about each stop. We were not rushed as she wanted us to get the most from our tour. If you get Katie as your guide you will have a wonderful and blessed day. Would highly recommend the Warrenton/Fort Stevens tour/Lewis and Clark tour.

Katie took us on a wonderful tour of Astoria. The kids and adults loved it ! The history of the area was fascinating.

Katie was AMAZING and it was a wonderful and relaxing tour. Lots of super neat sites and information and hit her up for recommendations on sites to see and food! You won't be disjointed!

We enjoyed exploring Astoria more in depth via this scavenger hunt. We have visited every year since I was a child and now bringing our own kids, it was cool to learn things we had never known about Astoria!
