I had the best experience and would have done it again if time permitted. Our group had Ethan as our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about Guatemala. He brought a great energy to the group!

The city is a real gem - I can’t emphasise how lovely it is. The tour gave us a great insight into this marvellous place.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience at Casa de Jade! We started with a short, 10-minute tour where we learned about the history of jade, and then went straight into creating our own jade pieces.Everyone was very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire experience. We had such a great time and really enjoyed making something unique to take home with us.I highly recommend this experience!

This is an incredible and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide was incredibly patient, informative, and kind. We encountered some difficulties finding the location, but when we reached out to the receptionist, she was incredibly knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process, from check-in to the tour itself. I must say, I wasn’t prepared for the altitude, as I did experience a bit of altitude sickness. However, our guide was incredibly patient and understanding, and I was able to complete the tour. Just be prepared for the cold, as it can get quite chilly. Our guide was so kind that he even let me use his jacket so that I could make it through the rest of the tour. I highly recommend booking this company!

Great tour with Roberto who was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Brilliant way to get a better sense of Antigua and its history. The visit to the house of Jade is a bit of a waste of time however

This was such a fun and unique experience in Antigua! We really enjoyed getting to take part in the entire process of creating our own piece of jade jewelry, rather than simply watching someone else make it.The experience started with being able to choose our own piece of jade, which made it feel personal right from the beginning. From there, we picked the design we wanted and then actually worked on shaping and creating the piece ourselves. It was really interesting to see how a rough piece of jade slowly transformed into something beautiful that we could take home with us.The instructors were wonderful. They were friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They gave us plenty of opportunity to do the work ourselves while stepping in when needed to make sure our pieces turned out well. They also helped with the finishing touches so that what we made looked polished and professionally finished.I especially liked that you leave with a souvenir that has much more meaning than something you simply purchase in a store—you actually selected the jade and helped create the finished piece yourself.This was a great hands-on activity and something a little different from the typical sightseeing tours. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Antigua who wants a fun, creative, and memorable experience.

Our guide, Jamila, is ex-pat that has fallen in love with the people and culture here in Antigua. She took us to 6 different places in town and all with an incredible story and delicious food selections. By the end of our time together, I felt a beautiful and warm connection with Jamila and could really appreciate her fondness for this amazing town.

Lester was a great guide he took me on a adventure trip there was a local people selling amazing local food and the owner had little farm he shows us around the farm

We had an amazing tour! All of my friends enjoyed themselves and it was very informative and delicious! Thank you to our guide!! Definitely suggest doing this your first day to get acquainted with the town and where you might want to eat.

As two 70 year old hikers not used to mountain terrain we found the hike up Pacaya to be medium difficulty. There were plenty of opportunities to set your own pace. Our guide was great. Horses were available, if needed. Hiking to volcano peak is not allowed, but views from to highest point allowed were amazing.

We had Yalr as our guide and he was very nice and accommodating. It was just my husband and I and my only complaint was the guide was walking very fast in the beginning and I had a hard time keeping up. Maybe they do that on purpose so you feel the need to ride a horse up. Either way, I’m grateful for that option!

Riding in Antigua was not as daunting as I had anticipated. Our guide made it safe. The truck ride up the mountain is a bit scary and steep but I never felt unsafe. The hobbit village where we watched the sunset is spectacular. We were also able to eat and get a cocktail up there.
