Welcome to Anaheim & Buena Park

The Anaheim/Buena Park area within greater Los Angeles was once the site of sprawling 18th century ranchos on Spanish land grants. With California statehood in the early 19th century, the two cities developed as the heart of a rural agricultural region that produced a bounty of citrus fruits, walnuts, and berries throughout the first half of the 20th century. With the growth of America’s first theme park, Knott’s Berry Farm, beginning in the 1920s and the opening of Disneyland in 1955, Anaheim/Buena Park became the resort and recreation center of LA. The area is within easy reach of the Los Angeles International and John Wayne airports, the Orange County beaches and Catalina Island, Hollywood and Beverley Hills as well as visitor attractions like the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, La Brea Tar Pits, Universal Studios, the Medieval Times theme restaurant, and many other fun destinations.
