A brilliant way to see Alesund and Fjords Casper was really good and stopped a few times to tell us the history Would definitely recommend this tour If you want to feel exhilarating sit up front

Our family of three totally loved fishing in Alesund. Arni was an exceptional guide who helped us catch lots of fish - lots of mackerel but also some pollock and haddock. Then he cooked them up for us and they were so delicious. He also cooked us an amazing muscle soup. The weather was cool and rainy and windy but he still made it an exceptional experience. He was patient and lots of fun. We had an awesome day.

Beautiful fjord scenery and well worth the 5 hour trip. Enjoyed the time in Ose. The boat was right next to where we docked on NCL, but it was a bit confusing, as they switched boats the day prior, so it had a different name than what we were advised. Cool Destinations sent an email the evening prior, but we didn’t have service, so didn’t receive it. Two tour guides said the boat docked was a NCL cruise boat, also unaware of the change. Luckily a third tour guide said she thought there might have been a boat swap, we checked, and were almost the last to board. Some sort of signage indicating the boat name change would have been helpful.

Absolutely stunning scenery on this great catamaran ride. The inside seats are super comfortable with big windows to enjoy the sights. Outside views back and front are stunning, wrap up warm!

I had a phenomenal time … weather was perfect … had plenty of time to get to the waterfall and back. I lucked out as a solo member of the group to have Peter, one of the tour guides in the kayak…. Great company, lots of laughter and fun!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour guided by Lukas. He was well versed in history and architecture. He was organized and prepared and included media and photos on his iPad to illustrate much of the history he described. We felt that the tour was fantastic- we would recommend to anyone visiting Ålesund.

What an amazing trip! The teenagers in particular loved the speed of the rib over the sea. The views were breathtaking and the wildlife fabulous. Highlights include the island cliff covered in seabirds, six sea eagles and lots of seals. Big thanks to William for the excellent experience and for the donut rib turns on the way home. Highly recommend this trip!!

Lukas was very personable and informative. We experienced the highlights and history of the area at a comfortable pace.

We had a wonderful time but we did get wet. Would definitely do again!! No puffins this late in August but we did see seals!

This was a great tour to see the surrounding islands around Alesund, going through 3 tunnels under the fjord and through the mountain. Great to see the lighthouse, do pay to walk up to the top, the ships and houses in Sunnmøre Museum (you need 2-3hrs in the museum). The view of Alesund from the viewpoint is amazing!

Everyone was very pleasant. The trip was fast and easy. The technique was simple as was the fishing. It would great for a family with elementary school children. Not for hard core fisherpersons. Drop the weighted rig, crank up a bit from the bottom of the seabed, jig a bit. Reel up, hopefully with a smaller size fish on the line. Shallow bottom cod fishing with a few mackerel as well.

This was an excellent tour in a very comfortable van. We had planned to rent a car in Alesund to explore on our own & changed our plans last minute to book this tour instead - so glad we made that choice! The driving around Alesund and the surrounding islands would have been tricky as only English speakers with no knowledge of the road rules in Norway. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and the commentary on the areas we visited.

This was an incredible excursion. There’s something to be said to be coasting along amongst the majestic landscape- makes you realize how incredible nature is! Jon and Ema were great guides and incredibly accommodating!

Great trip out in a minibus on the Atlantic Road. Great driver ,2 stops one for views and another for coffee and walk with views, ending with a trip to the top on a mountain ⛰️ and fabulous panoramic views, would definitely recommend 😀
