Absolutely brilliant, we learnt so much about Ghanaian history and Emmanuel our tour guide was excellent

The booking experience was seamless, and Benjamin runs a very strict company. My guide Emmanuel was incredible, very knowledgeable and kind and I learned so much from him during the day! He also helped me with a couple of other things through the day like exchanging currency and trying some new foods. It is clear that he is very passionate about what he is showing tourists!! The tour itself was incredible and very safe. It was a good start to my trip to hear about how Ghana gained independence and the people and experiences that led to it as it was my first full day.It was definitely 11/10 stars-so much so that I booked another tour with BigBen and Emmanuel again while I was on the existing tour, can’t wait to do more with their company in a few days!!!I 100% recommend using this company if you are visiting Ghana, and the Accra history tour was very safe and well run and comprehensive!!!

Emmanuel was our guide and he was so friendly, knowledgeable, and earnest. He also wore a handmade outfit full of color and a lion and that made it even better!We saw all of the sights on our first full day in Ghana, he helped us exchange money, grab street food, and just knew his way around with many friends along the way.He also just matched our vibe. He wasn't sales-y, took many pictures, knew when to be out of the way and let us enjoy versus shepherd us to the next thing. Because we were only two people, this made a big difference in our enjoyment in a positive way.

Excellent tour of Accra, highly recommend. Our guide Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and the tour was very well-designed. We learned a lot about Ghanaian history and culture, got to visit some amazing views of the city (from the top of the Black Star Gate, and a second view overlooking the Makola Market), and guided walks through markets. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, which was very convenient and helpful.

This Accra city tour was fantastic!! Our guide Emmanuel was extremely knowledgeable about all things Accra! He knew the answers to every question we had. Emmanuel even knew where to get the best photos! I really enjoyed this tour and recommend it 100%.

Even though I was traveling solo, another traveler joined the tour, and it made for a great small group experience.Emmanuel was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the tour. What an impressive day! So many things learnt about the unic history of Ghana. Benjamin was a top guide with so much knowledge about Ghana. He explains everything and answers all our questions in a calm and patient way. He takes care of our wisches. We felt sure and best informed. Furthermore I was very thankful that they brought me my bag back I had unfortunately forget in the car after the tour. I really recommand Benjamin and his driver friend Bismarck!

This tour was the perfect way to start my trip to Accra. Ben picked me up at my hotel, and we got started right away at the W.E.B Du Bois Center. Lots of cool information here that led to the next stop at Black Star Square and Black Star Monument. One of the highlights was getting to climb to the top! The stop at Makola Market was fascinating! So many people everywhere, but somehow, it all just worked. A nice visit to the Kwame Nkruma Park was next, where we learned about the place's role in Ghanaian independence. Next, a drive through Jamestown and a visit to the Arts Center to look at handicrafts, and back to the hotel. A nice full day. Ben had so much information about all of the places we visited. I felt so informed by the end of the day. This is a great way to get acquainted with the highlights and then determine if there is anywhere you want to revisit later on the trip. And, Ben can offer excellent recommendations.

Ben and his driver Bismarck gave us a nice overview of the recent history of Ghana, showing it to us through Accras monuments. In Jamestown, a local guide joined us which I especially enjoyed as a way of connecting with the community. There was plenty of stops along the way to buy souvenirs so bringing sufficient cash is a good idea, especially that you might get higher price as a foreigner (though haggling is possible). Also good to bring a water or snack as it’s not provided. The organisation is a bi chaotic at times but not in a way that affects the experience. Overall recommend as first time visitor to Accra.

Samuel was the perfect guide for this tour. He provided a wealth of knowledge at the monument locations, and helped us access that provided an excellent view of the city. The tour guides at the Dubois and Nkrumah Centers were also extremely knowledgeable, providing keen insights into the subjects of those centers and the rich history they were an integral parts of.

Guide was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged asking questions. Definitely worth the time and money

It was a great trip. I thought it was going to be a group tour but turned out to be a solo trip, which was fine by me because i was able to ask more questions and take my time.Emmanuel was very well informed and kind. I would definitely do a trip with him again
