Top Progreso Half-day Tours

Got to see a little bit of everything PRogresso has to offer on this tour. Jesus was great a would recommend for those visiting the area.

We had an awesome tour with Ulve. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us. We highly recommend this tour!

We didn’t have many options in Progreso so we thought we would give this place a try. It was great. We were greeted upon arrival. The area was well kept and clean (bathrooms, beach, pool, etc). The service was great and the server checked on us about every 5 minutes. Drinks were cold and food was yummy. We did have some communication difficulties with the other staff since only two staff members speak English but we were in Mexico after all. If you want a laidback, uncrowded beach club, this one is for you!!

Everything went smooth. The representatives were expecting us and just as we got off the ship's bus to downtown and the representative immediately took our names and checked us in. We boarded a bus and drove a short distance to our destination. Once we arrived we were brought to lovely beach with many chairs and umbrellas. The view and the sound of the surf were totally relaxing. Unlike other beach clubs this one had a gorgeous beach minus the floating slides that seem to be an attraction at other beach clubs. We were offered choices of different drinks. Later we ordered food which was really tasty. drinks and food were included. They had people selling items as they walked the beach. Nice souvenirs . We bought a few handcrafted items at great prices. It was convenient as we only had a short time to shop once we returned to the ship. I had a relaxing day. The beach was a little rocky entering the water but once you got past that part the sand was warm and soft under your feet. They had lots of fish swimming around your feet. Snorkel masks were available but the water was clear and we saw lots of fish as we walked into the water. The food was wonderful. The representative took your order and brought it to you. Beautiful place, it was not crowded. It was very pleasant and the whole family enjoyed it. The staff was absolutely awesome. One of the best excursions I've been on. The big bonus was the food was absolutely awesome!

Great little spot on the beach. Close to the cruise pier. Food and drinks were great. Very attentive

Great experience, I wish the original ruins were open . But they took care of us and Antonio was a great guide with alot of knowledge.

The views were beautiful, the sea although there was some wind was rich the water.We took many pictures, we went to see the Poseidon that they put on the beach, very pleasant the afternoon. Although what I liked the most was visiting the Meteor Museum, the Guide was very clear and excellent in its talks, also took many photos there, if I recommend it, thank you.

I had never been in a Segway bed so learning how to drive it was awesome! It was a great way to see Progreso! Arturo was an incredible guide and so much fun! His knowledge of the area was excellent! I would definitely recommend this tour !

Great tour guide that adjusted our itinerary- with our consent - due to an issue out of their control.

We decided to visit the site on our own, so took a taxi from Merida. The ruins are very old dating from 600BC. They are small and well worth having a guide as he can explain everything to you about the buildings. The open chapel which was built of stones from the original buildings is interesting, it self a ruin, was being worked on by the conservators. The cenote is polluted therefore it is not possible to swim in it any more The echoes in the main square really do,sound like the quetzals. The most important building is the building of the 7 dolls.the window at the top was strategically placed for the solstices and the moon. The ruins were not very busy. We took about 2 hours

Great experience with the whole team. Had Bianca as our guide for the day and was a great tour outside of our cruise offerings with a lot of 1:1 conversion with there only being 7 people in our whole group.

Luis was our tour guide. An absolute history buff. He made sure we were all taken care of. Great sense of humor that made our time together much more desirable. So many stories so much information about Progresso Mexico . 6 hours on a bus with a couple of stops that seemed to fly by. Take this tour with Luis. You won’t regret it.

This was hands down the best excursion to get out of you confort zone! They gather you up by the ship and then you head down to town get introduced to the local guide and then it's about a 20 minute ride when you reach this rustic very realistic barn where there's some animals around and the atvs the place looks a bit run down from the years but it definitely has its appeal, there they give us gear and instructions on how to use the atvs, so we were fortunate to go on rainy days and got plenty muddy haha loved it!! Then we arrived to an abandoned church and other complex of building and were told the story of this hidden little town. What I personally liked as the fact that this place wasn't structured fancy for those who want paved roads and pure cleanliness y was down and dirty and you got to enjoy and see what people down there really live by day by day. After wards we head to the beach club. Guys some advice take a change of clothes with you please you will need it! After a little while at the beach relaxing then we head back to the boat with the rest of the groups so all in all it was unexpected but we'll worth it. 5 out 5

Wonderful day with pickup right outside of the Duty free shops. Abraham was the guide and Allahadra drove us to the salt flats, flamingo lagoons, cenoti pools, maya ruins and a lovely all inclusive resort right on the beach. I would do it again as there is so much to see and do.
