We went on this tour this week with Garnik, our guide and driver, and had a very enjoyable half day. Garnik was an excellent guide and a safe driver, and the car was very comfortable. The 3 sites we visited were all very interesting (particularly Geghard), and gave us an appreciation of Armenian history.

Gorgeous location for a great temple and basaltic columns! Monastery of Geghard is unique in that it is partially built into a cave and has a spring of holy water. I happened to catch a group of singers there and that was magical. My guide, Garnik, was super helpful, cheerful, punctual and informative.

We spent two days with our driver, Arakel, and had a great experience. He was very talkative and friendly, which made the trips enjoyable and relaxed. The places we visited were really worth seeing.

Our trip with our family to Tatev with guide Arsène left the warmest impression!) Arsène is a true professional: his deep knowledge of history and sincere love for Armenia made the tour truly special. He was attentive to all the band members, answered questions and managed to create a very soulful atmosphere🤍The monastery itself made an unforgettable impression - majestic architecture, stunning views and special energy of the place). Especially the trip on the cable car "Wings of Tatev" added a note of magic to the tour! I would like to mention the excellent organization: comfortable transportation, well-thought-out route and recommendations for local cafes😍This tour was one of the most vivid memories of our trip to Armenia, we were very pleased!

I recently spent three days in Yerevan and had the pleasure of being guided by Mr. Arsen, our tour leader. From start to finish, he was professional, relaxed, and incredibly informative. He explained everything clearly at each stop, added interesting local stories, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout. His calm and friendly nature added a lot to the experience. I truly enjoyed my time in Armenia, and Arsen played a big part in that. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting!

We amazed in the beauty of armenia. All the monastery in the region are jaw dropping experience. The nature are very beautiful. This is the good place to escape and connect with the nature

I can‘t find a better word to say more than „excellent“ for this trip with our Tour Guide Mr. Narek Hakobyan. He is very nice and explained too much not only about the tour but also sthe culture. We really recommend this tour. Especially with our Tour Guide. We really had amazing time and enjoyed a lot.

Garnik was an excellent driver guide and he had a great car with safe driving. He explained everyithing to us really well, helped us with photos at all the sightseeing places and was super courteous. Overall great experience.

To begin, we appreciate how the tour company messaged us twice prior to the day of the trip to welcome us and review the itinerary. Our driver arrived to our hotel right on time and was quite friendly. It is important to note that the driver most likely won't be able to speak English, so if you don't know Armenian or Russian like us, you won't speak besides smiles and nods. We were given as much time as we wanted to experience all 3 stops. They were MAGNIFICENT. Armenia has one of the most beautiful countrysides I've ever seen. It is also important to note that it's a long day (11-13 hours) but you do stop and can buy food along the way (so bring cash!) Lastly, the roads are mildly and consistently bumpy plus it's a different style of driving (lots of passing slower cars in front); however you are in very safe hands. I wish I had brought motion sickness medicine only because I'm sensitive to that, but that's zero reflection on the company or driver. Thanks for a magical day!!!

We decided to discover the south of Armenia as our friends recommended us to visit the longest cable car (Tatev). The staff of Destiny Travel is professional, highly recommended.

Tatev is a must see, truly breathtaking. also visited Zorats Karer and Khndoresk gorge. the tour was great, excellent driver and guide. 10 out of 10!

Interesting (especially Greghard) although perhaps it falls a bit short. Especially the explanations from our guide, which were nonexistent.

Really enjoyed it! Beautiful places. Amazing views of the Mountains Ararat. The guide Narek was very professional and shown so many places. We started from Roman temple and Roman bath. Then we visit amazing natural basalt area looks like The Giant Causeways in Northern Ireland. Such a beautiful place! Then we stopped at the location with rock cut churches at Geghard, great place to visit. So highly recommend this tour to anyone who wish to see real Armenia! Thank you Narek for great tour! Well done!

This was an amazing trip and I would like to thank my guide Narek for a very enjoyable day learning about the sites and the history of Armenia. I had plenty of time to take photos and Narek was very patient with all my questions. This trip is so worthwhile.

Great trip with really spectacular views, and brilliant historical sights, even if the weather was such that I couldn't see Mount Ararat. Narek, the driver/guide was really informative, friendly and well used to navigating the potholed roads outside Yerevan. I loved the mythraic Roman temple with a fantastic location, but the highlight was the rock cut churches at Geghard, which were just amazing in every way. They were really spiritual, especially when a man sang a hymn in the baptistry to show who wonderful the acoustics were. but, at the same time, I couldn't help imagining Lara Croft exploring them because they were so otherworldly. if you are ever in Armenia, don't miss this trip.

Each of the Monastery sites warrants a special memory. All share a backdrop of spectacular scenery. Each one unique. Khor Virap with its Arminian architecture, in sight of the closed Turkish border with Mt Ararat regally in the background, history of Gregory the Illuminator and Christianity in 301. Noravank 13th century Monastery access through a very beautiful, scenic gorge opening up with views of the Monastery framed by high brick red cliffs. Tatev 9th century Monastery again spectacular scenery perched on top of a high basalt plateau access by the famous Wings of Tatev cable car a treat in itself with views of the surrounding mountains. Tatev was known for its spiritual and cultural activities in addition to economics and politics. We had two stops on the way one at the Areni winery which was charming and interesting with its oak barrels and more interesting clay containers for aging wine. The other was a lunch stop at a village. Lunch was delicious and was delighted that we were able to stop again on the way home. Destiny Travel, excellent service, would be able to provide you with the location of our lunch and dinner stop. My tour guide, highly recommended, Chinar Grigoryan is extremely knowledgeable if history, Armenian culture is your passion. She is professional, warm, caring, personable, excellent English skills. Fortunately also my driver, Tigran Horhannisyan was so accommodating with photo stops and intuitively anticipation any need. Very personable and although only spoke a few words of English it was evident that he understood more English than he could speak. My day was enhanced considerably by the fun and total experience of being in the care of such wonderful companions - thank you both. This was a long day but well organized and was the highlight of my ten day trip both in the places visited and Chinar and Tigran efforts to ensure that I had a better understanding of Armenia.
