Top Vanuatu Boat Tours

Well, where do we start.... Pickup was on-time, air-conditioned bus. Local driver was lovely, and didn't get irritated when he had to do a 30min loop back for some late arrivers. Tender boat that ferried us out to Major Tom was easily boarded from the shore in ankle deep water. Boarding the Major Tom was simple and effortless. Once on board 'Chris' the captain and owner of Major Tom (Australian) made you feel as if his boat was yours. Nothing was a hastle, crew couldnt be more helpful. BBQ lunch was delicious and cooked right on board while we snorkeled the beautiful pristine clear blue waters, out of the gale-force winds. More marine life than I have seen in the many places I have snorkeled around the world. Very untouched. On board snorkel gear was best we have used in Vanuatu, no leaking masks or snorkels!!! Clean, working onboard rest room. We even 'sailed' instead of 'motored' back to port (as most other "sailing" trips I have been on dont actually sail). Oh, Remember to keep some Vatu spare for the local Mummas Market at the end, as was all hand ctafted items, not cheap Chinese crap from in town market. Highly Highly recommend if you are visiting Vanuatu at ANY stage.Our only negative being, we couldn't stay forever!!!

Very relaxing day. Nice food. The guided tour was informative. The village locals are lovely. Snorkelling was great.

We thought we would get to Moso Isle, in one of the adverts it indicated Moso was in the itinerary.

A fantastic snorkeling experience, great bbq lunch, the boat ride was longer than expected, but it was good fun with coffee and snacks available. The beach was gorgeous, great for collecting shells and beginner snorkelers. Friendly crew, with a ready laugh.

We are a family of five who took the Nguna volcano crater walk. Vanuatu Ecotours were really punctual and professional. The guides provided local knowledge and history on the way to the jetty. The boat ride to the island was comfortable and the walk to the crater, while strenuous, was really enjoyable and at a good pace. After that, the snorkelling at Pele was good fun, the lunch was really nice, and the trip back was relaxing. I really big thank you to our guides Jackie and Jolan who were really knowledgeable and great fun to be with. Highly recommended.

I had an incredible day with the tour guides! I was the only guest and they were very kind, informative and friendly. Snorkelling with Linda was lovely and the lunch at Tranquility resort was delicious! Highly recommend

Great day out. Instead of the Volcano walk, we did the village tour with Joseph. An enthralling walk through the village with him.Snorkelling in the afternoon was fantastic. A great spot for lunch and a swim.

The domain and the story of Chief Roi Mata is a pivotal part of ni-Vanuatu history and culture. It was worthwhile to visit the site as well as the related sites of fele cave on Lelepa and the village. Depending on tides you might have to wade out to the boat so wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet.

Great tour and excellent guide. Despite the weather not being perfect the tour carried on albeit modified to take the weather into account. We couldnt get to Hat Island but saw addtional parts of the coast which were stunning. I would not recomend booking through Cool Destinations, they were over twice the price that a fellow traveller booked directly with the local tour company.

Really lovely day out on the water. It was a bit windy but the crew did its best to ensure we all had a great time snorkelling and enjoying the clear blue waters. Definitely a must do sailing tour.

Fantastic day despite the cloudy weather. Excellent sites to snorkel, comfortable boat and very friendly crew. Nice food and the village was interesting to see. Getting photos afterwards was a nice touch too. Would definitely recommend!

Well were do we start, the only words to describe this tour is Wow! The team from Port villa tours were above & beyond thanks Ray,Brian & driver (sorry forgot name ) but he was awesome, we would like to think we have made life long friends luckily we were the only travellers on this tour from the very moment we were picked up we were treated like kings! , after the bumpy drive around the island we were transported by banana boats to Pele island which was very comfortable , the island is very tranquil & beautiful after welcome we enjoyed our first 45 minute snorkel with Brian our wonderfull guide with a wealth of diving experience he even dived down & did some go pro filming for us, then we enjoyed & buffet lunch with all the local fruits ( yummy ) then another snorkel for 1 hour the reefs & water temperature is amazing, Ray then took us on a tour of the local villages, we were then transported back to our accommodation feeling pleasantly exhausted !! Thanks guys for the best day ever , we will be back Deb & Alan

We spent a wonderful day at Tranquillity Island. My husband did two dives and I went snorkeling twice. We had our daughter (1.5 years) with us and they provided a babysitter for her. Everyone was kind, welcoming and accommodating. Lunch was good. The pick up from the resort was easy and smooth. The drive was quite long due to traffic but expected as we had to go through Port Vila. The snorkeling and diving was beautiful! Absolutely recommend the tour!!!

This was definitely the highlight of my Vanuatu trip! The tour guide Nemly was amazing and she had so many tips and tricks and also a gopro camera with which she took some amazing pics of underwater life. We have seen many turtles and a manetee which definitely was a highlight! Big thanks to the whole team, they took great care of me although I was only guest that day. Thomas prepared us a great lunch!
