Top Utah Kayaking & Canoeing

Two sisters in our 70's, on a trip to visit the Mighty Five NP's decided to take a rafting trip while in Moab. We booked a morning float with Way to Moab after meeting with Joseph who explained what the trip would involve and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable of the area and even gave us recommendations for good places to eat. Our guide on the trip was Chris who took great care of us and pointed out interesting points along the way. The trip included a stop for a short hike that took us up a little rock scramble. We were impressed by how safety conscious Chris was. We were the only two on the trip so he basically tailored it to what we wanted to do. We would highly recommend booking with Way to Moab if you are in the area. The experience felt much more personal than the larger outfitters in the area. We had an experience to talk about and share pictures of with our friends! Thanks Joe and Chris.

LOVED this trip! Our guide, Chris was a superb. Knowledgeable and kind. We pulled off the river for a short hike so we could take photos at a particularly beautiful site. These guys know the river and the geology. We’ll be back next year for their extended trip.

What a great experience with Chris and Joe. Two great guys. My son and I had a wonderful time rafting and Chris’s knowledge of Utah was amazing. I would definitely recommend this rafting company to anyone who wanted to go and didn’t wanna go down any white Rapids the rapids were perfect. Thank you guys we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Beautiful scenery. Emily was a wonderful guide- knowledgeable and friendly.

Irving was a great guide. My wife and I try to kayak on every trip we take. This Moab kayak trip is now #2 on our list as best trips ever, second only to kayaking in Switzerland.

Amazing adventure! The Rover and the views are amazing! So fun to so ir with Family and Kids… Luis was great, he was very nice and know a lot about the historical sights.

We just did a rafting tour in Moab on the Colorado River with Jo, owner of Way 2 Moab, and had a fantastic time. We'd done our research on rafting tours beforehand, and Way 2 Moab is nothing like the typical "load thirty people onto a school bus" operation. Jo and his main man Chris took our family of four on a memorable, personalized trip down the Colorado. Jo is incredibly knowledgeable about the river, Moab, and the surrounding area. The trip struck the perfect balance: relaxing stretches mixed with real fun on the rapids. Highly recommend if you want a more intimate, expert-led rafting experience.

Highly recommend this place. We brought a big group of 12 with widely varying ages. Nicole and the other guide were great. Water was provided on our tour. Saw plenty of wildlife. Kids had a great time!

We rented paddle boards and kayaks…all of us enjoyed these activities…fun day in the water

Great day out with CJ into the mountains. Hiking, seeing waterfalls, beautiful lakes did a little kayaking, some archery and leatherwork. My little personally created souvenir of a fabulous day out!

We were blown away with CJ. Every aspect of the excursion was organized to perfection. His personality was the cherry on the sundae. I strongly recommend CJ and MTX for your adventures in Utah!

Great trip. Chris was very personable and knowledgeable about the river and area in general. Would recommend 100%.

This is a wonderful, very personal trip on the Colorado. Joe is very knowledgeable and informative. Both him and Chris were great!!

I had such an incredible experience with Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours in Moab! I went white water rafting with them today, and it was easily one of the highlights of my time in Moab. From start to finish, the entire experience was fun, well organized, and memorable. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable while still keeping the trip exciting. They did a fantastic job explaining everything, keeping us safe, and making sure we were having a great time along the way. I had Annie as my tour guide and I can not provide enough praise! She made it so fun for us!Rafting through the beautiful Moab scenery was absolutely incredible—the views alone are worth the trip, but experiencing them from the river made it even better! If you're visiting Moab and looking for an adventure, I highly recommend Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours. Whether you're an experienced rafter or trying it for the first time, they make the whole experience fantastic. I would absolutely book with them again!Thank you to the Mild to Wild team for such a fun and unforgettable day!
