Giovanni and his wife, Mirabella, made us feel at home as soon as we entered their home. They had antipasto and Prosecco waiting for us. Then, we prepared the Tiramisu, spaghetti and ravioli. Giovanni showed us how to use all the machinery. He was so knowledgeable and patient. When the hard work was done, they escorted us to their beautiful dining room and served us our delicious dishes and some wine. It was my birthday during that week; so, they put a candle in your tiramisu. We talked, laughed and learned a lot of cooking tips. We highly recommend this class because it is more than a class it is a true Italian experience.

What a special experience! From the moment we arrived, Mirabella and Giovanni made us feel like family. They welcomed us into their beautiful home, and you could immediately feel the love and warmth that fills it. Their kitchen was inviting, the class was fun and hands-on, and we learned so much while making delicious pasta and tiramisu.What made this experience truly memorable was how genuinely kind and caring they were. One of a kind experience. My husband and I were the only people in the glass. I was on cloud 9 for getting to make pasta in Italy. We even found a kitchen store so I could bring home a new ravioli cutter! I’m still in heaven and will be talking about it for some time.

Giovanna was very sweet and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time. The different pasta and ravioli was amazing! She even served a delicious sorbet for dessert. Would really recommend!

A wonderful 3 hours full of making pasta and tiramisu with the wonderful Rita. We all had a lot of fun and enjoyed eating what we made. Rita was a great host.

We had a fantastic experience with Giovanni! He was a kind, patient teacher! The pasta we made was incredible and the sauces he made were out of this world! The entire experience was enjoyable!

This was outside our comfort zone a bit but so worth it. We made two different pastas and a tiramisu (getting the recipes as well) then were served the pastas and tiramisu as part of a full meal with all accompaniments. Our host, Giovanna was awesome and what a cook!!!! The meal was fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone!

We had such a good time cooking with Giovanna! We made great pasta and tiramisu. We had a small group of four of us, me, my wife and my nearly 80 year old in-laws. The recipes were great and we had so much fun! Looking forward to trying to replicate them back home. Giovanna also gave us lots of tips for getting the most out of the city. 10/10 would recommend!

This was a wonderful experience, our host Giovanna was gracious and welcoming! He did not speak much English, but google translate worked perfectly. We had a great time making ravioli and spaghetti, we even made tiramisu!We have prosecco and chicetta to start, then made our fabulous dinner and dessert. Giovanna served us, we enjoy local wine with dinner and some of his homemade Limoncello after dessert!!

We had a delightful time learning to make pasta and look forward to going home and recreating this delicious food.

The cooking class was super, but the logistics to attend was dismal. There was no representation at the meeting place, and we were 30 minutes late for the failure.

I wanted interaction with locals and an opportunity to converse in Italian. My afternoon with Giovanni and Mirabella was everything I was hoping for. Their home is charming and inviting and walkable from the area near Il Molo Audace. Giovanni explained the recipes and techniques and let me have hands on experience with the chitarra pasta cutter and shaping the ravioli. During our conversation over lunch, they gave me recommendations for the rest of my time in Trieste. Book this activity for a memorable experience.

Purely authentic Italian experience! Rita is lovely and such fun - and a wonderful hostess! We had the best time!

Our family of three adults and one 12-year-old, had a lovely time in Giovanna‘s home. We made and ate delicious pasta, and she graciously shared some great tourist tips and suggestions for our family. It was such a unique experience to work in someone else’s kitchen and share a meal at their dining table. Such a hit with our whole crew!
