The tour was incredibly informative and enjoyable. The app was spot on with our location as we toured Harper Ferry. This was our first time in doing something like this and we can't wait to do it again in the near future.

Mike was a wonderful guide on our trip through Harper’s Ferry. He was a wealth of knowledge and made the history of this area during the Civil War period come to life.

Was pretty easy. We got off track and she found where we were and got us to right spot. Just be prepared it takes a lot of battery life on phone and it died. But was really good

The history of Harper's Ferry was brought to life by our guide Mike! He was extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of this historic town, including John Brown, the Civil War, race relations and local industry. For two and a half hours he kept us fully engaged. The time was well spent.

The audio for the tour was easy to hear and paced just right. The directions to each location were easy to follow, and the geolocation was spot on as we proceeded to each location. Having the ability to also read the the narrative and directions was very helpful. The map was also very helpful. Overall, I really liked the app and the walking tour. I highly recommend. As for purchasing when traveling with a group, I purchased for each person in my group (2 parents and 4 adult kids), but I was the only one who played the audio on my phone. Everyone just listened to mine. The upside of doing a self guided audio tour is that you can take detours at any point. We stopped for lunch and did some extra walking over the bridge and along the river. You also do not have to try to get to the front of a large group to hear a tour guide.

Growing up in Baltimore and having spent time in Frederick over the years, never occurred to me to go on a tour but my mom, sister, cousin and I went on Don’s tour today and had the best time. We learned so much and it was delivered in a really memorable way. Don has such a fun personality, he made us laugh but also clearly has a lot of love for Frederick which comes out in his stories and made us appreciate the experience even more. The time flew by and we were all very glad we did it:)

The process of ordering was easy as well to apply it. We arrived at the starting location and pushed start and it did. We liked the audio tour because it gave another voice to the details and information of this historical site. We were able to walk at our pace and read the markers. It helped us to visualize as we looked over the scenery what happened here. A combination of past and present.

The tour was great! Good descriptions of each area on the tour. The tour didn't indicate the amount of climbing and areas that required care to navigate safely.

We visited Harper's Ferry by arriving on a shuttle bus from the National Park depot. The entire area is walkable although the hills are steep.We stopped at the John Brown museum and crossed the bridge to walk on the Appalachian Trail.

He covers a lot of local civil war history. This is a walking tour. Don’t expect to go into any buildings.

Don Burgess has great stories and knows so much about history! He was right on time and was very enthusiastic and he had great photos.

It was just my husband and I on the tour, but we had a great time! Don was knowledgeable about the history of Frederick as well as what is happening currently. He was easy to listen to and we could ask whatever we wanted. It was a nice walk around town. Would recommend it!

The town of Harpers Ferry has so much history spanning over so many years that without a guided tour, it would be difficult to understand & enjoy.
