Top Corfu Hiking & Camping

The walk lasted just over three hours and was mostly level with just a climb to the summit at the end (a second option avoids the climb). The weather was hot but some shade was available in the first part of the walk. Fantastic views. George the guide was very informative and provided cold water at the start then lunch/juice later. Enjoyed by all.

Very nice, quiet, and recommended tour! We had a lot of fun with our guide Georgia, who kept us entertained and explained the surroundings and nature to us. We definitely recommend GEO bicycling & more!

This was a great experience and we really enjoyed a simple hike in a place we would not have gone to on our own. George was a lovely person and so kind with information about local flora fauna and history. It was nice to walk through the olive groves and visit the monks cave and the monastery. Georgia picked us up from the just outside Corfu and George dropped us back there, so it was all very easy. We walked with a Lovley German couple. I am sure George alters the pace depending on who is walking with him. We thought he did an excellent job and we enjoyed looking at the interesting things he pointed out as we passed. Good communication and excellent value for money. We loved a more simple “real” experience. We would definitely book with these guides again. Thank you. Victoria and Nick

This tour was perfect! Ninia was so helpful and encouraging and the history of this island is fascinating. For someone who has learned to hate tours because I cannot physically keep up, this was a wonderful change. Please do more!!!!!

My husband and I took a 4x4 trip from Preveza in September 2025. We saw the necromantee where George with his descriptions transported us to antiquity, we continued with a hike to Acheronda passing through its crystal clear waters and we ended with a visit to Suli and food in the best farm to table tavern I have visited. George is a terrific guide with deep knowledge. We highly recommend it!!

Our tour through Epirus was absolutely unforgettable! The day started with the Necromanteion, the ancient Oracle of the Dead. The history here was fascinating—our guide, George brought the myths and rituals of the ancient Greeks to life, and wandering through the underground chambers was an experience I’ll never forget. Next, we visited Acheron River Springs, where crystal-clear waters and stunning scenery made it feel like stepping into a fairytale. Walking along the river, with its turquoise currents and lush green surroundings, was both refreshing and awe-inspiring. We ended the day with dinner in Souli village, and it was the perfect finale. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the meal was authentic, flavorful, and one of the best we had in Greece. Eating local dishes while overlooking the mountains was simply magical. From start to finish, the tour was well-organized, educational, and full of beautiful moments. If you’re visiting this part of Greece, don’t miss this incredible experience! George and Epirus were amazing!

A great way to learn more about the history of Corfu and the physical structure of the island. Georgia and Georgios were great at staying in touch in the lead up to the excursion, and we felt it was planned and secured much better than most.Georgios was our guide for the day, he was very friendly and made us feel like we had known him forever. It truly felt like hiking with a friend. We learnt so much that we wouldn’t have without this trip and the added little extra of the wild fruit picking was something we didn’t expect.Overall a wonderful day and will be an experience that sticks with us forever.Thank you so much Geo!!

Slightly more expensive than other similar activities but a great hike, with an incredible guide. Yorgos was so knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions as we wandered. Would really recommend and I’ll be going back next time I’m in Corfu.

The views were amazing and so was our tour guide! He told us all about the olive groves, beaches and the local village. We took some lovely photos and had a great time. It was lovely walking through an authentic village and beaches that we would have never known about if it wasn’t for this trip! We would definitely recommend.

Travel guide George gave Femke and I a great, fun and educational day. We recommend everyone to do this!

George was an excellent, well informed, funny and flexible guide. tour deserves five stars. Great museum visit, hike up the gorge and gates of hades, stories of Souli and local farm meal. My son and I really enjoyed the full day .Warning: Despite Cool Destinations/ Cool Destinations taking our payment and sending voucher confirmation, they did not inform George and we had to message him. Very quickly and flexibly he was able to change what he was doing and collect us. Warning - visitor and Cool Destinations do not always tell local guides so always send a message to local guides for confirmation.

A relaxed beautiful walk with a lovely chilled out guide. Me and my son (15) enjoyed the walk through fruit plantations and olive groves. The guide was lovely and my son really enjoyed chatting with him. Thank you

During my trip to Corfu this summer, I had a simple goal: to explore the mountains of the Ipsos area by bicycle. Unfortunately, once I arrived there, I found that there was nowhere to rent a bike. I walked for a long time, under the sun, to Dassia in the hope of finding one... and luckily I found it!It was almost a miracle to discover the only bike rental shop I could find. I don't know if there are others around, but I can say that this was a real turning point for me. Thanks to that shop I was finally able to ride to Mount Pantokrator, an experience that I will carry in my heart as the most beautiful of all summer.Special thanks go to George, the owner of the store: a very kind person, polite and really helpful. If you are around here and want to experience Corfu in an authentic and adventurous way, this shop is a must. Without them, my journey would have been incomplete

Wonderful day hiking with George! We set up the experience last minute and he was timely in communicating to answer questions and coordinate pick up. He was very kind to pick us up at the cruise port and even pack snacks and drinks for the day. He was knowledgeable about the area and pointed out many things of interest along the trail. The trail offered great views of the island and ocean, it was a little overgrown in parts and of moderate difficulty.

Challenging walk for seniors - but our guide George safely led us at a pace we could do - much appreciated. The cafe we visited was welcoming with great iced Cappuccino.

We had an incredible hike with George which was definitely the highlight of our trip to Corfu. We started in the traditional hillside village of Liapades, winding our way along a picturesque trail through the trees with incredible views of the coastline and some gorgeous quiet beaches. George was so knowledgeable and really made it fun for us. A highlight was a (chilly!) swim at the deserted beach of Limni just below an abandoned villa, and watching the sunset from a rocky outcrop. 10/10 would recommend.
