Just back from an amazing day. Spent time at two fantastic waterfalls and the highlight was the trip to the ice cave. Absolutely brilliant tour guide Alex. Highly recommend this experience

Igla was our guide. She is perfect for this role: friendly, thoughtful, careful, curious, interesting. She made sure we all could handle the trek. Gave us tips to make the crampons work on the glacier, showed us many moulons and took pictures of all of us when we asked. I would recommend Igla and this company for the glacier hike. The highlight of our trip, and an outing we’ll talk about for a long time!

This is a great way to see the beach and enjoy being on an Icelandic Horse for an hour. The horses are well-behaved and well-cared for, and the guides are friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped on the beach and they took pictures for everyone. I've read reviews complaining about the fact that you only walk. We have found this not to be true. There were three guides, in case some wanted to go faster (just for a few minutes, but we still got the experience of "tolting"), and other people wanted to stay back and go slower. If you are looking for a fast-paced long ride, find a private tour. I am an experienced rider and knew what the expectations were ahead of time, and was not disappointed. One other complaint I saw was that if you're late they do not wait for you. This is true. You need to get there 15 mintues early at a minimum to prepare. We left promptly at the top of the hour. If people are late, they are holding people up and they don't have the time for fitting a helmet and important instructions. I highly recommend Vik Horse Tour for a nice relaxing ride on the beautiful black sand beach.

Our guide was excellent! Strong Viking voice & very friendly. Always looking out for our safety & keeping things light! I’d highly recommend the experience.

AMAZING! We did a private tour and so glad we did. With the private tour I feel like we had such a unique experience. We were able to go all the way in the caves and were educated on the changing environment. If you are thinking of doing a private tour I highly recommend it vs a group tour. Davis was our guide and he was fantastic.

Amazing experience! Fun, exciting, beautiful. You will see things and go places that other travelers are not able to see. Our guide Jordy was such a great guy & had so much knowledge about the places we visited. Please don’t cancel your adventure if it’s raining - it did not affect our trip at all.

The Tour was definitely worth it. Wonderful views. Our Guide Jindra gave a lot of information about glaciers. He was funny, took our „couple“ pictures and was very helpful and supportive. Thanks for everything, Jindra !

This was an amazing hike! We learned so much about glaciers from our tour guide, Dennis. The scenery was breathtaking! You have to do this tour if you come to Iceland.

The experience was awesome. The horses were well mannered and everyone working there seemed to know the horses different personalities and paired them with the best rider (based on skill and personality). I learned a good deal about Icelandic horses, got to see the Black Sand Beach and had a great experience. i highly recommend booking the latest time available to try and see the sunset.

It was an amazing and memorable trip to Iceland. The day trip to the diamond beach and glacier with the boat ride is definitely a must do! Our guide was Lina , she was our guide for the entire trip including airport transfers. She is very prompt in communication so it was very easy to connect with her on WhatsApp before we even landed in Reykjavik. She was very knowledgeable and narrated the significance and importance of each and every single site we visited. She was also very flexible and took us to some additional attractions as she drove us to the attractions

We had a great time on the tour. Our guide Jagoda shared lots of info on Iceland, including thoughts about food and snacks. She also made adjustments to planned stops, so that we could see certain sites at the best times and made some bonus stops along the way to take in the scenery. I liked that she seemed to enjoyed seeing all the sites herself, even though it was probably the hundredth time she has been there. The transportation was roomy enough, with 10 people in a vehicle with around 16 seats in the back, although the empty seats were mostly stacked with bags.The Glacier hike and boat tour on the Glacier Lagoon were definitely the highlights. On the Glacier hike, I really like how she made sure everyone was properly equipped and also using the equipment properly.Regarding pickup, given the big window of 30-40 min, I'd recommend letting people know in advance how many stops there will be that morning and where they are in the order. Even better, it would be great if text updates could be given (e.g., pickup one done, on my way to number 2). We were the last ones to be picked up, so we were wondering at the end whether we were forgotten.

Beaty was a fabulous guide! She was incredibly informative and so friendly. We had a blast getting to see the glacier and experiencing it first-hand, all the while getting to learn all about its history. Would recommend to anyone visiting Iceland!

Great guides and really fun adventure while taking in beautiful scenery!

Our guide Fricky was great...friendly, warm, very experienced...really made our trip! The truck ride was about 45 minutes there, of which 15 minutes on the highway and the rest on gravel road towards the glacier. We went to 2 caves (one small and one medium); each experience is different as the glacier is always changing. Once you get there, there are a LOT of tours and people all waiting to get in and out of the caves and you have to "queue". I would say easily over 100 people and 10 tour groups all there at the same time. Our group only had 9 people, but other tours had more like 15-20 people who would take a long time on the paths. I would rate the trip itself more like a 3 or 4 star due to the sheer volume of people, but since we had SouthCoast adventures and Fricky our awesome guide...I am giving this 5 stars because of him. Thanks Fricky!

We had a great experience with Michal on the Sólheimajökull glacier tour! We chose a private tour because my youngest is 7 and was not old enough to join up with the larger tours.It was a challenging weather day, but he kept us safe and led a wonderful tour! We loved the experience. It was one of the best things we did on our trip to Iceland!
