Easter in Saumur (Updated 2026)

Cool Rewards

Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.
Your account and your rewards balance are shared across all our participating sites, including cooldestinations.com. Rewards earned on any participating site can be redeemed on any other participating site.

Earning rewards

Rewards can be earned by making bookings on Cool Destinations or on any other participating site. You will see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account. You can redeem them on Cool Destinations or on any other participating site.
Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you switch them off at checkout. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.
You will not be able to redeem only a portion of your available rewards at checkout. It is only possible to redeem all or none of your available rewards.
There is no minimum order value required to redeem your rewards. This means that you can pay for 100% of your order with rewards.
Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
If rewards are redeemed against a booking that is canceled or refunded, the rewards will be reissued to your account.

Miscellaneous

You can check your rewards balance in your account at any time, on Cool Destinations or on any other participating site. You are responsible for ensuring that your rewards balance is correct.
We reserve the right to modify these Cool Rewards Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice, including the rules for earning and redeeming rewards. Any changes will be reflected in the updated Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to terminate the Cool Rewards program and cease issuing any further rewards on future bookings. All pending and available rewards balances will be honored.

Cancellation Policies

Cool Destinations uses three different cancellation policies, depending on your specific Tour or Activity. Please be sure to verify which one applies to your chosen experience before confirming your Booking.

This information can be found on every Experience we offer under the Cancellation Policy section, as well as on the checkout page.

Standard Cancellation Policy — A majority of our activity cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the activity commencement time (based on the local time of the activity).

All Sales Final — If any Goods or Services are designated as ‘All Sales Final’ or with materially similar messaging (which includes but is not limited to all group bookings booked through our Group Bookings Department), it is non-refundable, and it will not be possible to change or cancel it after making a Booking for any reason.

Non-Standard Cancellation Policy — A minority of Goods or Services have other, different cancellation policies. In all circumstances, you must check the cancellation policy contained in the applicable Product listing at the time of your Booking, which is the policy that will apply to and govern the terms of your cancellation and any refunds.

Cancelling Your Reservation

To cancel your Reservation you must contact Cool Destinations as soon as possible.

Cancellation Due To Bad Weather
If your Activity Operator must cancel due to bad weather and cannot accommodate you on another day, you will be issued a refund. Please be aware before issuing a refund, Cool Destinations will confirm if this is the case. Please note, this is only a valid reason if the Tour Operator cancels the tour.

If Tour Operator Cancels Tour or Excursion
If, for some reason, a Tour Operator cancels and cannot accommodate you on another day or at another time, you will be offered a refund and the option to take the trip. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, Cool Destinations will confirm this before authorizing a refund.

Refunds

No refunds are available once an Experience has commenced, or for any package components that have started to be utilized.
- If your Experience materially differed from its description, please contact us within 7 days. We investigate every report and, where warranted, will provide an appropriate remedy.
- Credit card disputes filed for services delivered as described are contested with full documentation, including redemption records, and this agreement.
Wherever possible, refunds are handled via our automated online system. In some cases, your refund request will require verification from various parties, and that work is done exclusively via email.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original method of payment within thirty (30 days) from the date of the approval.

Adjusting Your Reservation

Contact our office directly to make any adjustments to your reservations. If you call and reach voicemail, please leave a message including time, date, number of guests attending, and the name of the Tour or Excursion.
If you adjust your reservation, a voucher will be issued and applied to your new reservation date. Subsequently, a revised confirmation will be emailed to you.
If the newly adjusted Activity is canceled for any reason, a store credit will be issued. A non-refundable change fee of $25 per adult ticket will be applied at the time of reservation change.

Customer Responsibility

Showing Up Late
If you or a member of your party shows up late and are consequently not able to participate you will still be responsible for the full amount of the Tour, Activity, or Excursion.

No Shows
If you, or a member of your party, do not show up for your Tour, Activity, or Excursion you will be responsible for the full amount of reservation.

Unsatisfactory Activity Experience
If you experience an issue of any sort with a Tour, Activity, or Excursion you have booked via Cool Destinations, immediately bring this to the attention of the Tour, Activity, or Excursion’s operator. Make your concerns and complaints heard with the person in charge so that you may reach an agreeable solution immediately. Do not wait until you return from your vacation. If, for some reason, you feel a partial or full refund is merited, you must make this known on the same day of your Tour or Excursion.

Payment Dispute Policy

If You have any concerns or disputes about the Service, You agree first to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your Account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Perfect day in the French countryside

It was a wonderful trip. There were four of us and we all had a blast! The guide was British and that made it so easy given the English language as our native tongue. The tour was full of interesting stops and stories, the guide was easy going and flexible. The lunch, which was prepared by his wife was a delightful meal under the trees. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent

Really this tour deserves 6 stars. Keith and Linda are such lovely, knowledgeable tour guides. The wineries are great, and the lunch they provided was really tasty and served in a beautiful setting. They were fantastic at adapting to our wine preferences and dietary requirements. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Bravo bravo

Toru organized very well and with passion. We were able to see some very nice places. The picnic was a surprise, it seemed to be in the company of friends with delicious homemade cake. What else to say... good job

Lovely hosts and fabulous wines

My husband and I spent a wonderful day with Keith and Linda exploring wineries in the Loire. They have a deep knowledge of the local wines (well, all wines!) and introduced us to some fantastic wineries and wonderful people. They've built relationships with winemakers in the region over decades and it was a pleasure to meet the winemakers themselves as part of the tour. The picnic lunch they provided was DELICIOUS - fresh and local cuisine, and of course some wine! We've done many, many wine tours and this was right at the top in terms of our guides' depth of expertise and connections with small, local producers. Highly recommended.

TagalogGuru, Dec 2025

First class, Linda and Keith are great company and really unlocked the region for us

Keith and Linda arranged a tour for my wife and I visiting some amazing vineyards that we could not have hoped to find ourselves. Their relaxed affable nature and deep knowledge of the region and its wines combined to deliver a fantastic day which was the highlight of our stay in Tours... and their picnic was the best meal, of a stay which had some excellent food.

Excellent cycle tour along the Loire, includes great lunch and wine tasting

Super day out, seeing some lovely sites along the Loire Valley with our experienced guide Kevin, we enjoyed a lovely lunch prepared by Denise and topped off with a super wine tasting experience at the Targé winery. Easy cycling, well looked after. Thank you

Top getaway

This day was great. These people are made for this. Despite the very high temperatures still enjoyed everything. We were provided with water and a lovely picnic. This was a fun day.

Authentic and laid-back tour with a delicious variety of local wines

Keith clearly has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all things wine, which he enthusiastically shared with us in this professional yet very laid-back and fun tour. Together we tasted a generous number of local wines, produced by true artisans with whom Keith had an excellent relationship. I’d strongly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly deep-dive into the world of Loire wine.

A beautiful day tasting wines!

Keith and Linda were fantastic! We had a wonderful day visiting two wineries, tasting a lot of wonderful wines, and enjoying Linda's homemade lunch. This was a highlight of our trip on our first visit to the Loire Valley. This was also our first experience with Chinon wines. Keith and Linda are very knowledgeable and friendly and even helped us to coordinate shipping wine home. Highly recommend this tour, and we hope we can return again some day!

100% Recommend This Wine Tour -- Amazing!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about our full-day tour with Keith and Linda! The day was incredibly relaxing. They have great knowledge of the local wine region and the tastings were really excellent. Lunch was absolutely delicious -- full of nice, local touches -- and they were able to cater to dietary needs. Would 100% recommend if you are looking for a Loire Valley wine tour!

Don't Miss Excellent Loire Valley Personal and Memorable Winery Experience with Linda and Keith!

After researching several options, we selected Loire Winery Tours and were extremely happy with our decision. Keith and Linda could not have been better guides, and the day was both fun and relaxing, and we left feeling that we had gained some friends in Chinon. Definitely, don't miss the opportunity to visit Loire wineries with a fun and knowledgeable couple, who know how to make the day personal and memorable.Keith and Linda have good relationships with the winery owners/management, and they selected great wineries for us to visit. The wineries we visited were small (which we prefer) and the tastings were all very good and included a variety of wines and vintages. We had time to visit with the winery owners/staff and ask questions. The wines were so good that we consumed our purchases well before we returned home, but we know that Keith and Linda can help us if we choose to have more shipped. One of the highlights of the day, was the wonderful luncheon prepared for us where everything was locally sourced, and it was an experience we will long remember.Linda and Keith were so accommodating to work with. Even before our arrival, they gave us suggestions for how to get to Chinon from our hotel and recommendations for dining (including local Brioche). They were flexible in picking us up at a convenient time and location near Chinon Fortress and dropped us at the train station after our winery visits. Our only regret is that we weren't able to take advantage of their rental cottage, which looks wonderful. Oh, well, saving that for our next trip.

Lovely day on an ebike in the Loire!

We had a lovely time with Kevin and Denise on the ebikes. The picnic was amazing and Denise was able to cater to our dietary needs. Kevin was a knowledgeable and interesting guide and exploring the caves was really interesting - good to get off the beaten track. They spent a lot of time ensuring we were happy and well looked after - would def recommend!

A fantastic day of wine tasting in the Loire Valley!

This was such a great experience! We tasted fantastic wines, visited some really unique wineries, and had a delicious and traditional picnic lunch at a historic and charming setting. Keith was so knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with him. One of our best days in the Loire Valley!
