Fiji 2026 Calendar of Events

My family (2 adults and 3 kids aged 9, 11, 13) had a fabulous time on the Ride and Slide trip! We booked it on a whim for our last day in Fiji and we are so glad we did - the kids said it was the best day they had the whole trip (and we had some amazing days in Fiji!). Jumping off the boat, sliding down the slide and the beautiful South Sea Cay private island were stand outs, but everything about the trip was awesome. Even though it was only the half day we didn't feel rushed at all, there was plenty of time to get in lots of fun! Appreciated the 2A 3C family rate as well, it was excellent value for money with lunch and drinks included. Staff were amazing, so much fun and so welcoming and encouraging to the kids - they knew how to help everyone have a great time! Classic Fijian hospitality and joy - thanks to all on board, led by Henry and Apisai. Beautiful farewell song as we came back into the Port to finish off the trip. Would highly recommend, especially for families of tweens and teens who are looking for something a bit different and super fun!

Beautiful place. Beautiful people. Such a nice and relaxing place with heaps of activities to do snorkeling and seeing the turtles was 100% a highlight. Will be coming back

Our trip to Savala island with Oolala tours was incredible! We got picked up at our resort on Denarau island, and it was a very short ride to the port, where we were greeted with the lovely Fijiian friendliness. At 10am we boarded a brand new catermaran boat for a 70minute trip to the island with about 15 other people (so glad we didn't do the crowded tours). The weather was perfect and the ocean was so blue. Got to see some pretty landscape on the way there. At the implant we had a nice morning tea with home made coconut slice. The a snorkeling trip with a local guide who made sure everyone was comfortable and saw who pointed out some of the marine life (sea cucumber, parrot and angel fish, lobster, blue starfish, giant clams, soft coral, etc.). People could go for as long or as short as they wanted. Then a delicious lunch (fresh fruit, lamb, chicken, salad, garlic bread), made even more scrummy for the light exercise). Then lounging in the deck chairs with newly made friends. At 3pm we said goodbye to our idyllic island and headed back to the port. Absolutely the best day I could imagine.

Amazing island, very friendly staff, loved the free drinks included in the package and the atmosphere really recommend giving this one a go.

My family and I chose this cruise for our last night in Fiji. The Staff were friendly and fabulous, the Gourmet Barbecue was delicious, and although the weather was overcast, the overall Sunset Cruise experience was one of the most memorable moments of our family trip to Fiji. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best trip ever. From the amazing guides, amazing long boat adventure up the river, visiting the village, amazing food for lunch, the tubing trip back down the river, the guides singing for us, their attention to us older folk was so thoughtful and all praise to them. Thank you for an unforgettable day trip 💯❤️❤️

Our paradise island escape was a fabulous introduction to Fiji island life. The crew were talented singers, able seamen, and hilarious joke makers. The weather was a dream- blue skies, turquoise waters. Viewing the coral and fish on the snorkel adventure was so worth me getting over my frustration with my ineptitude with the equipment!

Excellent experience, first class day tour with a touch culture. We were looked after from start to finish. Tour guides were warm and friendly. Delicious lunch. Topped off with beautiful traditional singing.

All the experiences were interesting helped by our guide Dao's first rate knowledge and I would recommend this trip to everyone

Great half day visit around Nadi. Our guide and driver picked us up at our hotel on Denarau Island and they were on time and very friendly and helpful the whole tour. We started at the beautiful Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple and were given free time to look around and take pictures. Then to downtown Nadi to the department store and market and given free time there and we got to try Kava. The next stop was Viseisei where we got a tour of a traditional village. Last our tour ended at the Garden of the Sleeping Giants where we had a nice walk through the garden. Then continued on the trail to a view point that with a view of the mountains and sea. Then our driver took us back to our hotel, perfect half day in Nadi.

We spent a really lovely day at this beautiful resort with lots of available activities! The island is picturesque, and as this is a day trip to a resort you get a different atmosphere and experience than visiting a beach club island like Malamala (which is also nice, but we preferred this to be honest!). The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, in particular with their beautiful sung welcome to the resort when you arrive and a farewell as you leave. The facilities are great - clean and well tended, with plentiful snorkelling and kayaking equipment, and the beach is very pleasant. Beach towels are available to rent for $5 each per day. The included buffet lunch quality was excellent, with clear labelling for people with dietary restrictions - a great range of fresh salads in particular. The only slight points to note are that no drinks are included in the ticket price, not even soft drinks or water, which seems a shame (we weren’t expecting to have to pay for soft drinks on top of the high ticket price), and also there is a transfer to and from the ferry by small boat, so it might be tricky if you have mobility issues. These issues aside however, we had a fantastic day and would recommend it!

Buna at the Rosie Holidays Desk was very patient and very helpful when I had to make a last minute booking after a confirmed tour was cancelled by another tour operator . She was quick and organised a fantastic day trip including the transfers and we were all taken care of very well. Highly recommend Rosie Holidays for memorable tours!!
