The sunset tour of the Ria Formosa in Faro was a quick experience that showed the different aspects of the area. We were picked up in a boat at the end of the Marina and were taken out on time. Luckily, it was just 4 of us as usually there are more people.Our tour guide was fantastic as he had the right mixture of talking about the various sites within the Ria Formosa, plus allowing silence as we watched the water and land before stopping in an area to watch the sunset. The sunset was spectacular, and there was only one other boat in the area where we were.Our tour was from 7pm-8pm in September. It was nice weather, and we were in shorts and tshirts. Definitely recommend.

This trip is an absolute. We absolutely loved it. Our tour guide Edu-Eduardo was absolutely fantastic. Great spirit throughout the day and he looked after us so well. He was patient and very helpful and that day we had a great little tour team with others. We had a brilliant day and would not hesitate to recommend this tour to any of our friends. Very knowledgeable experience, our guide took us through ria formasa telling us all about land we even tried an edible vegetable and experienced knowledge on what was grown on the land and a beautiful sunset to finish off

Wonder time. We managed to see three types of Dolphins whilst on our trip. We loved every minute of it.

Lovely visit with amazing sightings and especially thoughtful insights from Anna and Pedro how are absolutely passionate about what they do and get out of their way to ensure people have a great time. Dolphins in the sunset are stunning I would highly recommend booking this tour.

The driver was very patient, taking us close to the visit points. We had to pay extra for 2 extra castles visited, but only 3-4 euros. A nice day trip to visit Portugal.

Exceptional ride and tour - fun & knowledgeable local guide available in several languages. Our guide Mauro was very man-about-town, giving unique local insights on food, culture, education, even building developments in various neighbourhoods. We asked loads of questions and got informative answers.Mauro rolled with the banter giving in-depth knowledge in a light-hearted way. The perfect way to orientate to the city in just 1 hour! Tuk tuk was speedy, stable, comfortable (even for the less flexible of us!) and easy to access right at the central marina. Also they can pick up from your accommodation.We understood more of Portuguese and Farense history and local food culture - even checking out the seemingly secret local fishermen’s association café, and stopping on a side street to buy from the roving van of ‘the special bread man’ who only rocks into the neighbourhood twice a week!A really special tour :)

I took my twin 5 year old grandsons who absolutely loved it ! The whole experience was fabulous and the guide ,( I can’t remember his name sadly) was wonderful and made the experience even better, such good value . And we will definitely be going again!

The tour of Faro was excellent and the self tour was easy , informative, and great to walk around listening to all the commentary. You go at your own pace. Highly recommended!
