Alsace 2026 Calendar of Events

We really enjoyed the Alsace food tour with JP as our guide! I think the fact that he grew up near Strasbourg was important. JP is very familiar with sites and restaurants, also made recommendations for places to go and things to do. The small shops and restaurants we visited were very charming. We especially loved the sausage and cheese shops! He also took us to a very traditional Alsace restaurant that was charming and had delicious traditional food including a version of baked macaroni and cheese made with spatzel. JP was very knowledgeable about culture, traditions, history, and was easy to talk to. A really excellent tour!!!!

Loubna was adorable!! So sweet and caring and she took us to some delicious places. Lunch was the best!! It was a fun tour, with Little history thrown in. Definitely worth it!!

Kevin is an excellent local guide originally from the US. His tour comments are engaging, amusing and informative. He provides helpful recommendations for local dining, etc , is happy to take questions and help with photos. Highly recommended.

Kevin is a friendly and knowledgeable guide who showed us around this beautiful city. As a bonus, he shares his restaurant recommendations, one of which we went to last evening.

Very beautiful museum, rich in works, but as always, it is better to get the audio guide!! Of course, the centerpiece: the Isenheim Altarpiece is well highlighted, what a beautiful setting for this masterful work... Don't forget to take the map because it's a bit of a labyrinth and set aside at least 3 hours. I recommend this museum

We had a wonderful time with our guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared so much fascinating local history and insight. She took us on a lovely stroll through three beautiful villages and to a wine-making cave that has been run by the same family for generations. It was a truly special experience, and we highly recommend this tour!

Three stops, all good food, wonderful guide who gave us a good outline of the history of the area.

The wine tasting was phenomenal. The sommelier explained to us about the grape varieties that are in Alsace, what kind of wines they have, etc. I enjoyed it very much.

Lots of fun and we plan to do it again in other cities. I only wish we had done it on our first day!

Great event with a lot of tasty wines and cheese recommendable for bigger groups because they have enough space for that in their beautiful wine cellar :)

Loved the wines and the cheeses. They gave us plenty of time and didn't rush us out when their presentation was over.
