The guide, Jonathan Hyde, with Sundial Guide, was excellent. He was experienced in hiking The Narrows. His knowledge about the geology, flora, and fauna enriched the hike tenfold. I learned about the colors of the rocks and how to revive moss. He knew where the American Dipper bird lived. It was exciting to see the Dipper fish and feed its young. I also learned how to walk in rapids to promote safety and increase enjoyment. Having wanted to do this hike for 20 years, it was wonderful to have such an attentive and knowledgeable guide.

This was actually our first ever audio drive tour and it was actually really fun. I was skeptical but it turned out to be great time. It was funny at times and it gave us lots of information. The music feature was perfect for the drive. The stops were amazing. It was nice not having to worry about missing anything important.

I felt like we had the best tour guide for sure! He spoke of his childhood growing up in Monument Valley, he taught us some words from the hardest language in the world. Played music and shared things only he would know about the valley. And that’s what I really wanted, I wanted to be connected to the land and the people when I was there. Mike was our guide on this exceptional, one of a kind hike in Zion canyon lower narrows. He was prompt, super friendly and very knowledgeable about all the amazing world of Zion National Park.His gear was perfect and he was always happy to snap a photo of the four of us. He let us traverse the river at our own pace, which was key for a bunch of 65-70 year old people. I would highly recommend this adventure! Spectacular!

Ian was our guide and he was awesome!!! We had a variety of ages (65 - 10) and he easily accommodated all of us. We also had some ability levels and Ian rolled with all of it. He provided yummy allergen friendly snacks and lunches for our days. Our little 10 year old grandson would choose to climb every rock and boulder and Ian helped guide him safely while letting him explore. All in all, an amazing one of a kind trips!

We did a one day tour of Arches and Canyonlands. Our guide John was excellent, calling us the day before to check our requirements for the tour and for lunch. On the day he was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. He allowed us to go at our own pace (as 2 ‘mature’ ladies we didn’t want to hike for miles!) but made sure we saw as many highlights as possible. We had a fabulous day and a delicious lunch. We would 100% recommend John and Good Trip.

SO GOOD ! A experience we will never forget. Our guide Cody was so good. Everything about the tour, dinner, Navajo culture and overnight in the Hogan and breakfast was more than we expected. Being outside at sunset, sunrise and night, looking up at the most stars you could ever imagine and realizing that you are in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in the world brought tears to our eyes. If you are looking for a luxury hotel and a restaurant this is not for you, or just well to learn what's really important. This is for those who know the true beauty of what the world is without all of the distractions.

We recently used Good Trips as our guide service for all day hiking and sightseeing trips in Arches, Canyonlands and Capital Reef National Parks.We had great experiences in all three Parks and believe these experiences were enhanced due to our guide, John Whiting.John worked with us to select hikes that were challenging but doable. He shared his extensive knowledge of all three Parks, interspersed with his hiking and climbing knowledge. We enjoyed the narratives he shared- they certainly enhanced our experience.John is passionate and enthusiastic about the outdoors. He is also very thoughtful in making sure his clients have the best experiences possible.We hope to share more hiking experiences with Good Trips and John in the future.

Bailee and Ian were fantastic guides. The whole family enjoyed their time with them! We hiked, did repelling, road 4x4’s and had a private Thanksgiving dinner in our casita for 14 people. Alex of Good Trips planned it all for us.
