Yuca was super sweet and friendly and spoke great English! She made the whole activity fun and interesting. Everyone did their part to make the ramen and gyōza. The best part was eating everything!

We took the sushi class at Cooking Sun in Tokyo as a family in August and had a lot of fun! The two instructors were incredibly nice, dedicated, and organized the class with a lot of joy. In addition to the dishes, they also gave us interesting insights into Japanese culture and cooking in Japanese families. The class was well structured and the 3 hours flew by. The homemade food tasted delicious and we were completely satisfied. A great experience that we as a family are very happy to recommend!

Our teacher was patient and helped us make such cute treats! And the Japanese tea ceremony was such a nice addition to the class.

We had the best time! Yuca is fantastic! I would make this a must for your trip (especially if you love gyoza and ramen).

My two teenage daughters and I attended the wagyu sukiyaki class and had an amazing time. We learned about local ingredients and techniques, and even learned some historical and cultural facts as well. Our dishes were delicious and we were pleased that we were able to produce such beautiful masterpieces. Thank our for the experience.

Hana was very welcoming to her home. Everything was super organised with all the tools and ingredients needed on hand. We were able to choose the different styles of sweets we wanted to make and once we were a little more confident we made our own free style sweet at the end. Also very interesting to understand the Matcha Tea making process. She also gave us some recommendations for other places to visit whilst in the area which our two teenagers would like. Throughly enjoyable experience and highly recommended. Just the right length at 1.5 hours.

YUCa was such a warm and welcoming host! She made us feel so comfortable in her home. Her attention to detail and her kindness was so special and memorable. We have 3 kids (ages 17, 12 and 12) and she ensured that everyone had a role in the preparation and cooking of the delicious food. Our kids loved making ramen and gyoza from scratch and so did we! We learned enough that we are looking forward to trying again ourselves, using her recipe. This was such a beautiful way to experience Japanese cooking and culture! It was so special and memorable! She even took the time to show us around her local supermarket. I would highly recommend this to anyone and was touched by how gracious and helpful YUCa was. This was an absolute highlight of our trip and we would be overjoyed to have the chance to do it again in the future! ❤️

Best organized activity I did on my Japan trip. Learned a lot, had fun, food was delicious and class was well organized.

The instructors made our experience super fun by teaching us tricks of the trade, taking the time to answer every question and just keeping the entire class engaged. This is a must experience!
