This time, while in Catania, I decided to do some diving. However, I didn't bring my own gear, except for a mask, computer, and a thin wetsuit. I have my own requirements and preferences when it comes to equipment, so I did some research and contacted several dive centers. I decided on the Jonio Pro-Dive Catania Diving Center PADI. PADI usually doesn't provide reviews after just one or two days of diving, but this time I'll make an exception. They had exactly the setup I requested, and it was already waiting for me. The dive was very efficiently organized, with an emphasis on safety. The group was small. And most importantly, there was a very warm, almost family-like atmosphere. I truly felt like I was among friends, not just another diver, another client.Thank you very much for a great time and a great dive. I'm a regular in Catania, so I'm sure we'll see again.

Great cathedrals to visit.Both are spectacular but Monreale has the edge for me.Wonderful bible stories in mosaics, so much gold on show.Do the visits with a guide so nothing is missed.We all have missing loved ones, light a candle, treasure the memories.Thank you cathedrals

Brilliant to see the cathedral in Cefalu alongside Monreale. To the untrained eye the mosaics in Cefalu are not quite as impressive but the relatively plain interior of the cathedral is actually welcome and might exacerbate the features of the mosaics even more. Cefalu Cathedral also contains some really different and stunning stained glass. And we felt that there was a much clearer tour to follow in Cefalu than Monreale. But that’s nitpicking: trying to see both!

Wow, it was really great! The caves were so beautiful. The wildlife is not very rich, but you just have to look among the rocks. Agnes and her colleague guided us; it was perfect 🥰 Miss you so much, Agnes, you are so kind and sweet.

Absolutely extraordinary experience. Bruno and Agnese are wonderful, professional, competent and absolutely nice, they immediately made me feel comfortable and safe. Coming from far away I rented the equipment that I found in very good condition. I made two dives, both with beautiful underwater scenery, x me who made dives only in the lake unforgettable experience.

Had a great overall adventure. Not too much experience diving yet but arrived to the center with the equipment ready to go and the staff eager to make you comfortable. Got all necessary info/forms completed and got ready. The dive itself was great as you walked into the water and descended from there. Lots of fish to see, lava formations with arches and caves. Many other underwater creatures like octopus, eels, crabs, starfish. Enjoyed two dives on a beautiful Tuesday morning. Thanks again to the great team at Jonio Pro Dive Catania!

Samanta and all the staff transmitted safety, passion and expertise, making the dive not only pleasant but also exciting.The equipment is of excellent quality and the explanations were clear and detailed, perfect even for those who, like me, approach this world for the first time. Underwater I felt a unique feeling of calm and freedom, accompanied step by step in total safety.An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to discover the beauty of the sea in depth with the certainty of being guided by real professionals. I had booked two dives in advance. The contact was very friendly. For the day itself I had booked complete equipment which was ok. The guided dives were very nice, especially the second, which went along the lava coast through arches and into small caves. The guide Vincenzo was very attentive. Communication on the surface in English was sufficient. The base is well equipped, there are enough seats, small tables and a shower. All in all a successful day. Thank you!

My 16-year-old daughter did her diving christening. She understood the depths but the team was patient and she managed to overcome in part! Thanks again me with my level 2 I was able to make a little journey to a cavity under lava

I had an amazing experience with them. Bruno and Vicky are very professional, friendly and helpful. It's my first time diving out of Asia and they put me at ease. The rental equipment are tip top conditions. It was a very enjoyable dive and I'm really glad I made time for it while I was there. Highly recommended.
