Top Maine Fishing

This was the highlight of our Maine trip! So educational and Michael and Erica were great. The vip food package was outstanding. We even saw a whale blow and Michael got us near it. Fantastic guide.

A measure of a worthwhile business is how they handle an issue when things don't go perfectly. Boats have issues sometimes, its inevitable, we got a call from Della more than an hour before our scheduled departure letting us know they'd be late. No problem, we took a detour to kill time and got there with time to spare. We waited at the dock and watch as the rest of the bookings canceled, even after less than 30 minutes. We thought they'd cancel our tour since we were the only ones but it was quite the opposite, we got a personal tour of the bay and surrounding coastline, just my wife and I. They offered us some wine, and just spent the entire time sharing adventure stories and learning about Lobster. It just goes to show you that having a little bit of flexibility, patience and faith can work out great.

Awesome experience overall with Broad Reach Adventures. Abby was great at answering my questions ahead of time and directed us towards the perect itinerary. Captain Shawn is extremely experienced on the water and found the fish for us! We hauled quite a few fish in over a short period of time. My teenage boys loved fishing with him. I also learned a ton from Captain Shawn along the way.Overall, I highly recommend working with Broad Reach Adventures. We had a blast.

Jim was an excellent guide! We caught several large bass & crappie. Fish tacos with blackened filets for dinner :)

My first time I’ve been ice fishing, it was a hit! Jim made sure my husband and I had the best experience. He had 10 rods in the water at all times and a nice warm hut to hang out and eat snacks and drink hot cocoa while we waited for the fish to bite. We caught a 31” Northern Pike and a 25” Large mouth bass. Dress warm and book with Jim.Thank you again, Alanah & Keith Terry

We had a great morning on the Peobscot River. Jim is a great guide who is the type of person it was a pleasure to spend time with. Good fishing, good scenery, great company.

We had a wonderful time and it was a great value for our money. Mike did a great tour and explanation of lobster fishing/catching. We learned so much and during lunch we were identifying males and females. Now, lunch was wonderful and more than any of us could eat. Anyone who’s interested in an authentic lobster fishing experience should sign up.

We had a great time! Michael was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. He was also very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about lobster fishing and the history of it too. The whole experience was very interesting and fun!

Great experience, beautiful views of the harbor by boat. Capt Mike was very knowledgeable on the lobster industry. Meal after checking traps was amazing. Lobster, shrimp, clams, oysters, mussels, corn on the cob. Highly recommend this excursion.
