Our driver was ready waiting for us at the resort. On the way, we stopped for a few minutes to check out some local shops. The driver was great because he talked about places as we past them. When we got to the lagoon at sunset and when it got dark we went out on the water. It was beautiful and anyone visiting Jamaica should definitely try this.

The lagoon was beautiful! Loved the pictures but they were kinda expensive for more than 2 people. Make sure to take cash. My 7 yr old got in with a life jacket and loves it. My smaller children 1 and 2 got to play with the water in a bucket and really enjoyed it. I just want to thank this company so much for working with us. We missed our tour due to weather but luckily they let us reschedule. So worth the experience!

The SNL tour guide was Marlan Kennedy and he was superb - really funny and engaging and ready to answer any questions about Jamaica. Pick up from the hotel was prompt and we arrived at the Luminous Lagoon with plenty of time to see the warm up dance show / get changed into swimmers before sundown.The lagoon itself is amazing - you don't need to be a swimmer, so this really is for everyone. Swimming around the boat, passing through warm and cold areas and all the time it was like casting spells in Harry Potter! The dinoflagellates which emit the bioluminescence are only found in four places on earth, so you will be hard-pushed to experience this anywhere else.The whole family were completely captivated!Just a couple of tips - you are most UNLIKELY to get good pictures with your own camera as the light levels are exceptionally low. Each boat has an official photographer and they take a lot of pictures (of everyone). These were really good and we ended up buying them (they can be bluetoothed to your phone or emailed immediately), but the prices are USD20 for one, or USD50 for all of them...and they only take cash.

The Rose Hall tour was excellent but the Luminous Lagoon was a waste of time!! Saw nothing on that part too my kids jumping around in the water that caused it to become too muddy to see the glow. Clive Patterson was excellent very knowledgeable.

We went as a couple and really enjoyed this unique experience, the water does really glow as you swim about and makes your arms luminous as you take them out of the water. The water is warm and a max of 4 feet deep, beware though the bottom feels very strange so I’d advise using swim shoes.

Never seen anything quite like the glistening waters of the luminous lagoon! A beautiful spectacle and an experience not to be missed! With photos not allowed (except by the on-board paparazzi) we were disappointed with the quality of our photographs of this once in a lifetime experience but it didn't take away from what we saw for our very own eyes! A lovely evening adventure and a truly beautiful wonder of nature!

This was such a unique experience! The water was so warm and it was so much fun swimming in the waters! My wife was grinning from ear to ear after it!

We were not too sure about this excursion, but our driver recommended it. I don't feel like its promoted enough on the internet. This lagoon was incredible. The captain was fun and knowledgeable. I was amazed when i jumped in, the water was like bath water and to jump in dark water and with one stroke it started glowing neon blue! How incredible! I'm so thankful they had a photographer on the boat to take photos. This is a must do if you are in Jamaica!

We love "one-of-a-kind" experiences and this met that expectation. Loved swimming in the lagoon and seeing the water turn bright blue. The pictures taken by the staff captured our experience perfectly. I brought my little Nikon Coolpix but it could not.

We had a great time on this tour. The boat picked us up at the Excellence and then took us to the lagoon. It was a dark night and when we jumped into the water it lite up. Just a little movement or splash and the little life forms lite up the sea. It was a wonderful experience and would do it again.

This was a lovely trip; very relaxing and fun to go out on the lagoon at night time. It was fascinating to be able to swim in the lagoon and see the water light up as you swim. There can't be many places in the world with this beautiful natural phenomenon. We purchased the photos taken of us - they were really good so worth the money! While swimming, take a moment to turn onto your back and look up at the stars...I have never seen so many stars in the night sky. It was as incredible as the lagoon itself.

Marlon was our company. He arrived at the meeting time sharp and seemed to know a lot when he answered our questions about Jamaica's politics, economy, tourism, and geography. His answers kept the older couple that was with us asking more questions. On the way back, he let us stop for takeout at Scotchie's. Because of Marlon, SNL deserve 5 stars.The lagoons were a unique experience. Algae spirogyra make slimy matts about 3-4 feet from the surface which you can stand on. I thought that was cool, but the highlight was a mystic blue light produced in response to motion by, as mentioned in the description, dinoflagellates. It was said that these are available in 4 locations around the world, and that they covered the largest area in Jamaica. The spirogyra and dinoflagellates, combined with the dark still waters, make this experience unique and worthwhile.The crew consisted of a photographer (took great photos), 2 strongmen, and a funny captain. They drove us to the lagoons and we were there within 5 minutes. We swam (optional) for 20 minutes, which was just right for us. In case you want to know, the water felt lukewarm in February. Then, the captain showed us a sugar barge and took us back shore. Finally, me and my girlfriend claimed our rum punch.

How can anyone give any less than 5 stars! Really something special to see and I'm glad we researched before we went otherwise we wouldn't have known about it as the hotel or Tui Rep never mentioned it! Surely with a natural amazing occurrence like this you should be shouting about it. Great experience
