AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We ended up making some modifications to our tour due to a few mistakes on my end and they were so nice and accommodating towards us. Our tour guide and porters made the experience so enjoyable. They were constantly giving us water, hot ginger tea, and candy to keep us fueled for the intense hiking. The food they prepared for us was actually incredible and extremely unexpected- it was even prepared very beautifully. I can’t stop thinking about the soup they made us for dinner!! We even got to watch some of the World Cup on the tour guides phone! They were so caring, constantly checking in on us and asking if we needed anything. Overall, this company is 10/10 and I will recommend this to anyone who is interested in hiking Mt. Rinjani.

Amazing guides, we had a lot of fun and the views were amazing! They spoke very good English and explained us a lot about Lombok and Indonesian culture

We did the 2D/1N summit trek with Ris, an excellent guide! The hike was tough, but he kept us going with unlimited snacks! I would also like to thank our porters who helped set up the tents and prepared the delicious food! Would recommend this organisation.

A great experience, thanks to Rudi who was our guide, very patient, a good listener, very funny and who transmits great energy (which is necessary for the climb!). Beautiful hike to the crater rim with a nice guide and porters which prepared amazing food! The last part is a bit challenging but the views are worth it! Would totally recommend this walk since you have the best view over the mini vulcano at sunset!

We have greatly enjoyed this experience. We had a lot of fun with our guide Rudi. Rudi is very friendly EN dignified and helpful. DE porters have made EN delicious food for us and took good care of us!The view is fantastic! DE sunset EN sunrise were very nice. All in all definitely worth DE!

We booked the 2d1n private tour starting from Senaru village to the crater rim. We read a lot of reviews about how hard it was, but it was way more easy than expected! The route from Senaru village is definitely the easiest way to get to the rim and has amazing views of both the summit and the beautiful lake! We really like the fact that this route is less crowded and less touristic. While everybody is walking in line trying to get to the summit, we were enjoying the calmness and peace of the Senaru route. We were very lucky to have the best guide: Rudi and his porters: Schu and Alec. They were very friendly and funny and took good care of us. There was plenty of food being served during the breaks and we even had the honour to be the first ones to try their new recipe: fried Beng Beng. ;-) We were also the first ones to arrive at the crater, which was quite nice. Thanks Rudi! Meanwhile, Schu and Alec had found us the BEST camping spot with amazing views and less wind. We had so much fun with these 3 guys! We definitely recommend booking a private tour with Jou. We even had a pick-up at Tetebatu and drop-off at Gili Air with a private boat. Before leaving to Gili we had a quick shower at the office which was much needed. ;-) / Look no further, this is the best quality you will get! 10 out of 10.

We had such an awesome time hiking Mt. Rinjani with rody as our guide for two days. Surprisingly, we didn't book a private tour but ended up being the only ones in our group, which was cool. The porters were amazing - they carried all our stuff and made sure we were well taken care of. Our tents and sleeping bags were clean, and we had delicious cooked meals for each meal.After our hike, Jou Trekking arranged a private car to take us to Kuta Lombok, and it was all included in the package price.Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would totally recommend Jou Trekking

We went on a 2 day tour going up to the crater rim, staying there one night before going back. The sight was amazing! The tour was a lot harder than expected and we were happy we didnt book a tour all the way to the top. Especially going down some parts can be slippery so make sure to get appropriate shoes. Nevertheless our guide was fun and made sure we were oke and got everything we needed like food, snacks, drinks etc.

We had the most amazing hike with our guide Mario! He and the two carriers took such good care of us during those two days. We had the best camping spot, on the rim of the crate, with the most amazing view (we could see the vulcano and Rinjani summet from our tent). Mario and the carriers made it possible that we had dinner at sunset and breakfast at sunrise, perfect hospitality and the food was amazing and divers. During the hike the guide addapted to our walking pace and cared for our safety. Mario told us some things about the environment and culture during the trip. We would totally recommend this trip, and especially this guide Mario, to others. An experience of a lifetime!

The most challenging yet rewarding experience! I can't rate these guys high enough. Our guides and porters gave us the most wonderful experience. Patient, encouraging, fun and supportive. Thank you again for everything! ❤️

Accidentally we booked this trip but wanted to go to the top and it turned out in the morning before start but the organizer was very kind and did his best to fix our mistake. The tour to the top is really heavy and requires focus and commitment. Sleeping on the mountain is fun! Porters cooked really delicious food all the time so we had enough energy. But better to bring lots of snacks to have more! Our tour guide was Pendi, with good English and described everything we wanted to know. With my friend we recommend this trip for everyone who wants to challenge themselves and to see something beautiful from the top!

The tour was good, friendly staff, but I could not finish. Had to go back down, but someone escorted me. It was a very rough climb for me

Thank you for arranging the Rinjani trip. 2d/1n was the perfect package for my schedule. I would highly recommend Adi Trekker for a private trip arrangement to Rinjani Summit, they got it all covered!!- The porter team was kind and friendly, very strong and responsive (and walked fast 👍). All needs were planned and executed perfectly. The food was delicious, healthy, and tailored to requests. - Adi was responsive and communicative to all questions during the preparation, making the trip comfortable. - The resort arranged was super comfortable with very helpful staff and matched the schedule. The resort was awesome, not to be underestimated. - Ian the documenter really pushed to the limit to ensure the documentation was achieved. With his struggles and thin jacket, he still made it to the summit. - Transportation, administration, and everything else were perfect. - Most of all, the guide was top-notch. Mas Cakra was indeed an excellent guide. He catered to the customer's needs, arranged everything to make the guests comfortable, gave tips for passing sandy areas, was very experienced on the trail, cleaned up trash (including monkey trash) on the way, was fun to run downhill with, and was very humble and helpful.Overall, it was a great short break for me, well planned, well executed, and well worth the effort to fly to Rinjani. Thank you to the entire team involved in this trip.

Had a couple days time during my visit to Lombok so decided to book a short 2D1N trek to Mount Rinjani rim. This is the easier one as we don't go all the way to the summit.Was a quiet day, so just me and my guide Lim and our porter Tedi in our party, though there were other parties going up and down those days. Overall, not too crowded, which was just fine for me.The weather was excellent, on the day up it was a bit cloudy but it gave breathtaking vistas marked by layers of distance. The second day we got as clear as it gets so a different experience going down too.Lim and Tedi did great job helping along the way (they cook, and setup camps and everything). Still you should be at least moderately fit to take up this challenge. My leg muscles were aching even several days after the experience, but it was all worth it!Just note that this package doesn't include transport between Mataram or elsewhere you might be staying and the foot of the mountain, so you have to sort the transport out yourself. It's about 30 euros from downtown Mataram if you take a taxi. The tour organizer can help you call a return car, usually just somebody in the village, and you can pay them. Or you can opt for one of the other packages that includes pickup and drop-off.

Wow, let me tell you.. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Shout out to Benji our guide and the 3 amazing porters. Our team went above and beyond. Everything is 5/5 for us, the service, the food, the company, the experience. It’s a MUST DO. You will go through a lot of mental and physical challenges but it will be worth it for the view at the top. It’s not for the faint hearted this trek to crater is still HARD. The night time can be very windy/scary. We will be back to do the summit! Thank you team !!!
