Matthew was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and attentive. The accommodation, especially in Zakopane, was great, within walking distance to everything. The salt mine tour was fantastic, and the Auschwitz tour was incredibly moving. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Zakopane and Krakow. We would highly recommend this trip.

Great multi-day active trip to Poland
We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Maciej. We wanted more than 5 days so he arranged a perfectly orchestrated 9 day trip that took us to the mountains in Zakopane to the painted village to rafting on the Dunajec to exploring wooded churches, castles and the countryside and finished with touring Krakow We met with locals, ate local specialties and stayed in beautiful accommodations. What a wonderful experience! He made us feel like family and you can tell how knowledgeable he is and how much he loves Poland. So do we.

Matthew was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and attentive. The accommodation, especially in Zakopane, was great, within walking distance to everything. The salt mine tour was fantastic, and the Auschwitz tour was incredibly moving. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Zakopane and Krakow. We would highly recommend this trip.

Amazing Tour Guides!
We were visiting Krakow with as a family with an elderly lady, so we needed support in getting about, and we not too sure on taxiing / touristing in the region and therefore booked a privtae tour guide. I cannot praise enough how helpful Christopher was, from suggested itinerary, hotels and restaurants. There was a bit of a problem on our side, and Christoper adjusted the itinerary at short notice, him and his colleagues did an amazing job!! The team are all so deeply proud of their country (it was delightful to see) and their city we toured and were very knowledgeable. They were able to take the tour at the pace set by our eldely lady, and we never felt rushed. Highly recomend using them!

We booked for Mr Shuttle at the beginning of November to go to Auschwitz on Monday 25th nov and the salt mine on Wednesday 27th nov. Got a text the previous day with a time to be outside hotel. Also 1hour before pick up. Auschwitz picked up at 5.50am in a mini bus by Kris (not sure of spelling) we were 1st pick up and picked up another 3 lots of people before the drive to Auschwitz. Kris explained everything in great English and took us to meet our English speaking guide. He then explained he’d be waiting in the mini bus for us after the tour. We returned to the bus and he dropped us at birkenau where we wet again with the tour guide and he took us around. Kris was waiting for us at the bus again to take us back to the hotel.Salt mine. We were collected at 8.50 in a private car by Karol. He was a very polite and great English speaker. He chatted easily to us. At the salt mine he explained where he’d be after our tour and then he took us to the entrance where we met our English tour guide. Once back in the car Karol dropped us off. Great communication and drivers and asset to your company 😀

My husband and I spent 3 days with Christopher (one of those with someone he recommended) and it was excellent. We did a 4 hour walking tour of Krakow, visited Auschwitz, the Salt Mine and took a train to Warsaw for a walking tour there. Christopher was incredibly knowledgeable on all topics and so pleasant to spend time with. He shared many topics of interest even beyond the tour. His recommendations for hotels, restaurants, activities were excellent and so helpful. We would highly recommend him and will plan to revisit based on recommendations of other places to see for which we ran out of time.

Booked online from UK, we used mrshuttle for our transfers between our apartment and airport and also booked the aushwitz and salt mine trip with them. When we arrived at the airport our driver was waiting for us holding a sign with our name on and took us straight to our apartment. The trips went perfect and picked us up and dropped us off at our apartment. The journey back to the airport was on time and every driver we had was excellent. Krakow is a great place for a great break,the food and drink are all at reasonable prices plus the People are always very polite and helpful, and thire are some great places to visit in the surrounding areas. I enjoyed every moment of my stay.Also the people at escape to Poland are great.

The best trip of my life!
I cannot say enough about the amazing experience that my family and I had on our recent trip to Poland. I had the pleasure of meeting Christopher Skutela PhD from Private Tours Krakow a few years ago. We hadn’t booked in advance for Auschwitz and the Salt Mines, and he was able to put together a day that was memorable and eye opening. We kept in touch because I wanted to plan a trip with my family to Poland given our heritage.My father can be a bit challenging at times and isn’t a big traveler. However, each day he said, “How can it get any better than today?!” He and my mother were blown away by the itinerary, customization and knowledge that Christopher shared. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel many places around the world, but I have to say that this was probably the best trip that I’ve ever been on. To see my parent’s faces, light up when we visited the town where my grandfather was born or the Black Madonna where he went to pray before leaving for the US was unforgettable.I cannot recommend Private Tours Krakow enough. Having a private guide was absolutely incredible and the way to go. Christopher and his team are true professionals with endless knowledge that is shared through stories and real-life experiences. If you have a day or a week, please utilize the services of Private Tours Krakow to get the best experience you can while in Poland.

Beautiful visit
Krakow with the visits to Auschwitz and Salt Mines was very worthwhile, organized and enjoyable. Zakapane was good, thermal pools was delightful. I was disappointed that I did not know that our transfer from Krakow to Zakopane would include shopping stops [wood carver]. Had I known that I would have had more cash and could have really bought some wonderful hand crafted items.
