Matteo gives an exceptional experience to his visitors!! The tour through the factory and the ride through the countryside back to the classroom... all filled with facts, history, personal recommendations, and lots of laughter and fun. We met people who have been handcrafting pottery for over half a century... pieces that you and I might see ALL OVER THE WORLD! The experience went way beyond any expectations I may have had. My 17-year-old daughter and I had an absolute blast. Would definitely recommend to ANYONE coming to Italy to book with Matteo!

I had the absolute best time at this pottery works. I had the workshop to myself and it was so personalized! It was fascinating to learn the history of ceramics on Ischia and then I was able to make a flower vase and paint a tile. I cannot wait to see how they turn out! I would highly recommend this activity as it is so unique to the island and area of Italy and so different than any of the other typical tourist stops.

This was fantastic. I am a ceramic student so most of what we did was not new for me. However, Elvira explained everything from hand building to throwing on the wheel and glazing in such easily understandable ways that anyone could follow. She was excellent. She gave me some tips that I did not know and I’m certain they will help me. I highly recommend this experience.

This was a gift to my wife who is far more artistic than myself. WE had the best time together with the maestro. He was patient with us and gave great instruction. It has sparked my own interest in creating ceramic art. My appreciation for ceramics has soared and cannot thank our time here enough for the incredible new experience. Really beautiful experience! I booked through Trippy and couldn't make a better choice. The ceramic activity was relaxing, creative and super engaging, Ciro il maestro was very good.The atmosphere was welcoming, the activity is perfect to disconnect from the routine and engage in something manual.It is an experience that I really recommend to everyone, both alone and in company. I will definitely be back!

The ceramic workshop at Jubanna was a beautiful and inspiring experience. In her lovingly designed home in the historic Castello district, she leads through the process of pottery with a lot of peace, knowledge and warmth. No equipment at all, just with your hands – just as it was done in the Nuraghe period. Especially beautiful: the homemade herbal tea from plants that she has collected herself. A very special, decelerating experience – highly recommended! Thank you, dear Jubanna!
