Brilliant experience. I honestly couldn't find a fault, im so happy we booked this. The crew were amazing. Our deck hand Daniel was a star. He had time for everyone. The yacht was clean and well kept. And it wasnt overcrowded. Highly recommend

Wonderful trip to the island. Marissa and Niko were amazing to watch set sails and sail the boat. Food was very good. Only slight negatives were too many boat's in the small bay and not many fish. Suggestion: put a different color small flag near the ladder to help swimmers without glasses identify which of the several boats anchored in the bay is the one they are on.

We had such an amazing time onboard with Ilias and Nikki. The sailing trip was unbelievable, from start to finish. We booked a private 4 1/2 hour afternoon trip and were welcomed warmly onboard. The boat was spacious and felt very safe for us and our children. Drinks were available throughout the trip.After sailing over to Dia, we jumped and swam in the sea, snorkelled and tried some fishing. We could paddle board and snorkel, with masks and flippers provided.We had an excellent lunch prepared onboard which was very tasty and fresh.We had time for some more swimming and fun after lunch, and then set sail back to Heraklion during sunset which was magical.Ilias and Nikki were incredibly knowledgeable and were lovely hosts, to both us and our children, both clearly enjoying their jobs onboard. They were amazing to spend time with even letting our kids have a go at steering the yacht, which will be a memory they treasure forever.Thanks once again for an amazing experience!

Magda is a superstar! Made our sailing day easy and hassle free. The yacht was stunning and every need catered for. Food was incredible and our teenagers loved it too!! You won’t be disappointed!!

The 4 of us went on a private half day trip in the morning (aprox. 09:30 -14:00 hrs).We met Denis and Elias, the crew, at the port of Heraklion.Travel time to the island took about 1hr each way. The island itself is uninhabited and a protected national park area.We got to a nice little bay where we stayed for 2/2.5 hrs. Seems this is the main hotspot for sailing trips as there were many other boats there, but it is full season in mid August. Here you can snorkel around in its crystal clear waters, paddle-board (SUP) or a quick visit to the island (little church, fisherman’s hut).The crew prepared a plentiful and delicious snack for us, which we ha pre-ordered separately (greek salad, sandwiches and an enormous bowl of fresh sliced fruit).Kids had a go at fishing and then a last splash in the sea before making our way back.We didn’t do much sailing as the wind was not in favour, but can’t do much about that.The staff were extremely courteous and friendly for the whole trip and pampered after us throughout the whole trip! Wow, what an amazing experience. My husband and I did the sunset cruise and it was pure bliss!! Started off in Heraklion and we sailed over to Dia, to a beautiful little bay where we snorkled over too (once we got over the fact it was freezing!). The captain and his assistant could not have done anything more, they were THE best. We also enjoyed a fabulous meal on board too. On the way back to Heraklion is when we got some amazing views and pictures of the sunset! Do not hesitate to book this, one of the best experiences we have done! The beautiful Magda couldn't have been more helpful with all the questions we asked prior to booking. Thank you for a truly spectacular afternoon/evening.

We had an amazing trip to Dia Island from the Venetian harbor in Heraklion! The boat was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Our captain Johnna was so sweet and handled the choppy water with ease. Her first mate, Daniel, kept the energy exciting and made us laugh. Lunch was very fresh with local favorites and there was plenty of options for drinks. They have any water toys you would want and don’t forget to go down the inflatable slide. I would definitely recommend Daneri for a day on the water in Heraklion! Life is amazing especially when you spend it with Johnna and Daniel! Thank you again for making our day so special!

Transport pick up was a breeze and the crew has been awesome!!! The only negative we’ve had was the clouds, and they made it fun regardless! Would recommend 10/10!

Wow, what a day to remember. I travelled with my three children aged 14, 11 and 7. We really wanted to do a boat trip & snorkelling, and after seeing hotel excursion prices, I found these guys online with wonderful reviews. We booked a small sailing boat, private trip for the four of us, which worked out cheaper than joining a larger group excursion from the hotel. I was worried as my youngest Son has egg allergies (for the food) and also can not swim yet without a float. So worried it would he wouldn’t be able to join in. I needn’t have worried at all. The food was incredible. We ordered two lots of sandwich and two of the chicken menu options. Wow! This day was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel transfer was arranged for us, the captain and co-captain were amazing. The whole trip of 4.5 hours was just out of this world. We all loved every minute of it and can not recommend this highly enough. Upon setting anchor at Dia island, my youngest was into the sea with his float, snorkeling, seeing fish and paddle boarding. My boys absolutely loved it (as did I). And not one moment of not being able to swim hampered the experience for my youngest. It has given him even more confidence in the water. The bay at Dia island was fantastic - the water crystal clear. It is deep to start with - but you can see the bottom of the water and my son with his swimming float was the most confident I’d seen him swim :) The food put on for us was amazing! So much of it! Felt awful not being able to finish it all because it was so good. Honestly I can not speak highly enough about the experience from start to end. I trawlled review after review worried if it would be ok for young children - and didn’t see many reviews mentioning young children, so definitely wanted to add this one for anyone considering in future. I just want to say a massive thank you to sailingtrips.gr for making this one of the most memorable days of our lives 😊 amazing!!!

We had the most amazing private boat trip to Dia with Marios and George, and we honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough!From the moment we met them, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional. They were right on time to greet us and immediately made us feel comfortable and looked after throughout the entire trip.When we arrived at Dia, they had a fantastic selection of equipment for water activities, which made the day even more fun. They genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. We didn’t have suitable shoes for going onto the island, but rather than letting that stop us, they came up with a clever makeshift solution so we could take our shoes with us. It was such a small thing, but it really showed how thoughtful and attentive they were.When we returned to the boat, we were greeted with a beautiful selection of fresh fruit that they had prepared for us. Not only was it absolutely delicious, but it was presented so beautifully that, honestly, if the sailing career ever comes to an end, they definitely have a future in food presentation! 😂Marios and George were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and professional, while still being fun and easy to spend the day with. They made the whole experience feel effortless and genuinely special. We had an unforgettable day and couldn’t have asked for better guides. A huge thank you to Marios and George for making our trip to Dia one of the highlights of our honeymoon. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing boat trip in Crete! ❤️⛵️🌊
