I had booked a private tour for a marriage proposal – and it was simply magical. Right from the start, communication with Sandra before and during the planning was perfect – always friendly, reliable, and attentive to every detail. The tour was officially disguised as a private boat trip for 4–6 people so that my partner wouldn’t suspect anything – and thanks to Ricardo, our captain, it worked out wonderfully. Ricardo was extremely professional, charming, and considerate. With his impressive acting skills, he made the “cancellation” of the two supposed extra guests so believable that my partner had absolutely no idea what was about to happen. During the trip, he shared lots of fascinating and lovingly explained facts about the region, which made the atmosphere even more special. The idea with the rose petals on the beach wasn’t possible due to the nature reserve regulations – which was completely understandable. The only important thing is to discuss every detail in advance to make sure everything goes perfectly. After the proposal, Ricardo welcomed us back with romantic classic music, opened the champagne, and took us on a breathtaking sunset cruise. The boat was very well-maintained, with comfortable lounge-style seating – just perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. We are a lesbian couple, and the whole experience was warm, respectful, and full of kindness. Ricardo even shared a bit about his own marriage and gave us insider tips for restaurants and excursions along the Algarve. Conclusion: A truly wonderful experience – professional, heartfelt, and perfectly organized. I can genuinely and wholeheartedly recommend this tour! 💛🌅🚤

A superb sunset excursion on the Ria Formosa 🌅! Communication was fluid from the start, Sandra very considerate and Ricardo gave us beautiful explanations in French throughout the trip. A peaceful and unforgettable time, which I highly recommend.

We spent an enjoyable time cruising with friends and Captain Mike and First Mate, Daniella. The overall experience was awesome! The crew was very friendly and accommodating. They listened to our interest and adjusted the itinerary to our interest. All questions were answered prior to the cruise and we would highly recommend the team!

Booked this private sunset cruise as a surprise for my husband. Just the right length of time 1.5 hrs. Ricardo was a great host, good English and very knowledgable and interactive. He arranged the most stunning red sunset ;-) and surprise bubbly. Background music available. The meet and great and email communications were 10/10 from Sandra.

We had the chance to be in touch with Sandra to book 2 boat rides during our stay. Sandra is incredibly kind, caring and attentive to our expectations. Our guides, Ricardo and Antonio, are just like her. We had two magical moments thanks to them and we learned a lot about Faro and Portugal.

Both the guide Chicho and the people who contacted us the day before, giving us all kinds of facilities, they even told us where we could park for free and close to where the excursion left, so everything was perfect.

I had booked the tour as a couple (for a marriage proposal) and ES was a 10 out of 10! From the beginning you can plan and discuss all ES with super nice boss Sandra and the boater Ricardo managed it superbly until the end and prepared the surprise fantastically! He first showed us a small lake in the flamingo “Life” and then the tour continued to the abandoned island. During a walk of about 10 minutes (all alone and surrounded only by sea water) Ricardo could prepare everything nicely on the boat. Back to the boat everything was already full of rose petals and you could enjoy the romantic moment alone. Ricardo took pictures and videos during this time, so you have a great memory forever. Afterwards, sparkling wine was toasted and the boat trip continued. In the middle of Ria Formosa we stopped again to watch the sunset from a magnificent view. ES then returned to the port and the tour was over. ES was an absolute dream and I can recommend this option to anyone who wants a unique and unforgettable moment for the marriage proposal! Thanks to the team - you guys are awesome!

I reached out to Islands4You on Instagram after seeing the many recommendations and reviews online. The team were fantastic from start to finish as we planned the perfect romantic sunset trip to one of the remote islands at sunset, very accommodating with my requests to make the evening special, all confirmed really easily over WhatsApp and email which included details and a photo of the meeting point.I reached out on the morning of the trip to reconfirm and everything was set. We met Ricardo 15mins before heading off, he was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and we stopped along the way as a part of the tour so we could learn more about Ria Formosa. We stopped at one of the main islands to take in the scenery and the proceeded to one of the remote sandy islands of Ria Formosa. It was the perfect way to propose to my Fiancée, nobody else around apart from Ricardo who captured the surprise for us!On the way back to Faro, we sipped champagne that the team had arranged and took in the Amazing sunset. A truly special way to plan a proposal in the Algarve and I couldn’t recommend Islands4You enough if you wanted to plan something similar or just enjoy and learn about the nature surrounding Faro. (On a side note, fear not if you get travel/motion sick - the boats are very stable due to their design, we only encountered wake from passing boats but some great piloting smoothed the waves out).Thank you once again for making our journey so special, we will certainly visit again when we’re back in Faro ❤️

This boat trip was fantastic, we all really enjoyed it, especially watching the sunset and listening to music in the background. Our skipper was also very friendly, really knowledgeable about the birds, sea creatures and nature around, interacted with us all and spoke in many languages. recommend this tour when in Faro even with children as we had kids aged 11 and 14 yrs old.

Superb 3-hour walk in the natural park with our guide Miguel, very friendly and full of humor, who gives us all the explanations in French. He does his best to make us observe the birds of the lagoon. And the excursion ended with a magnificent sunset, a great experience!!
