Our guide was delighted to be with! He brought us to some fascinating places and explained the historical significance and the current scene in detail, and in a very interesting way. We truly enjoyed being with him and very much benefited from his knowledge and his guidance.

I did several tours with Epirus Adventures. All were great. The Ioannina city and island tour was conducted by Maria, one of the best tour guides I’ve had. She’s an archaeologist, and I learned a ton of history. The Zagori Sightseeing tour was conducted by Giorgios, who owns the company. We visited several stone villages, amazing viewpoints, and interesting archeological features. The Zagori region is stunningly beautiful and there were very few tourists in September. Georgios is super friendly and a very professional and engaging companion. I also did a hike with Lazaros to a number of stone bridges; while challenging, it was a fantastic day out amidst beautiful scenery. Giorgios also drove me to Meteora. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and looked after at all times, and I would definitely recommend this company to any and all.

What an amazing way to spend a morning getting to known a city through traditional coffee, cheese and “ bougatsa” shops topped off by a cooking demonstration for a traditional cheese pie and then - lunch! Highly recommend this easily paced tour led by the passionate and knowledgeable owner Georgos - a young owner operated operation who deserves full praise for his entrepreneurship! MUST DO IOANINNA.

just now New We feel so fortunate to have spent an incredible day together with our host George in beautiful Ioannina. George was beyond amazing and set up the most wonderful guided food tour of the city. His deep passion and knowledge for his home town was so insightful and his personal and unique selections for authentic/ local eateries with the most delicious cuisine were divine. We especially loved our cheese tasting at Eleftheria and our spinach pie demonstration and traditional lunch at Paris Resturant -Arte Povera . In addition George selected our guide for our hikes in Zagoria which were beyond breathtaking . We were so impressed with George’s attention to detail and his love for his work that we recommend him in the highest regard and would love to work with him again! Anyone coming to ioannina MUST spend a day with George to truly capture the most of the city and have an authentic, fun, perfect day!!! You will be sad to say goodbye to Ioannina and George!!!

Epirus is the most fantastic province of Greece! Everything is. Sea, harbors, the most picturesque beaches, but also wild mountain streams, waterfalls and mountainsides full of orchids. In a word: do!!!

Awesome Hike!What a day! My husband and I had the pleasure of being guided by George through the Vikos Gorge. The trail can be a bit challenging in some areas. George was a perfect guide for this. He is professional and patient, helping me when needed. I am 63 so this trail pushed my limits. It was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend this experience.

I had wonderful 3 days with Yannis. First day we hike through the old bridges in Zagori area The next 2 days he took me to see some beautiful villages, pools, stone forest, amazing views including of course of Vikos Gorges from differents sides and Monasteries. On each place Yannis makes a video with explanations and photos - good memories❣️ He has a lot of patience! Yannis makes the programme according what you like to see or do. Super nice person, always prepared me a cold coffee or water and introduced me to each person we met on the way. You meet the real Greek people and I've met his wife too🤩 Many many thanks Had a wonderful time🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Georgios ably led us for 12 hours through the Zagori region. This is a fantastic tour especially if you want to get away from the crowds and see some of the scenic beauty of Greece. Not only was the tour itself (and the areas we stopped) stunning, George was the perfect guide. I'd recommend this tour for a wide range of travellers but it would be best for those with at least some level of fitness. You will get to see mountain tops, winding roads, forests, rivers, cute seasonal villages, and a rock face monastery. Thanks George for putting up with our Aussie humour.

Wonderful full day adventure from our hotel in Parga. We visited stone bridges, viewpoints and traditional Zagori villages. George was kind, helpful and accommodating of our two children – they adored him. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the region - we can’t wait to return to explore more fully and when we do, we won’t hesitate to book with George. Thank you ❤️

It was a nice and tasty walk both inside and outside the castle walls. George told a lot about Ioannina history, politics, living-style and food. I've tasted local products and dishes and had a lot of fun and learning. Local cheeses are great and coffee is tender and creamy.

This was a great tour! Georgio is an awesome and fun guide! We enjoyed visiting long term local establishments and learning more about the Greek culture.

Nikos is a kind soul, who cares about making time in nature magical for all skill levels. Nikos was friendly and helpful from our first email correspondence to even beyond our scheduled tour. Every moment was lovely.My boyfriend and I were originally planning on hiking the Vikos Gorge, but the rain made us quite nervous to commit to an intensive downhill hike, for fear of injury. Nikos worked with us to plan an alternative hike. He cares about safety and made this time enjoyable. His level of thoughtfulness and deep knowledge of the region is unmatched. He took time to share historical, ecological and cultural facts. Nikos guided us through a tour that felt very personalized.From the excellent communication, arranging transfers, stoping to take photos and bringing us to a delicious lunch near the river, Nikos was truly a master guide. I have nothing but respect for him! Highly recommended working with him and Hikes4all.

The booking process (by email) was very easy and efficient. Nikos is fabulously flexible and helps you find an itinerary that suits you just perfectly.We did a self-guided tour based on his standard itinerary, but with a few tweaks. Personally, we don't like to have too many transfers, especially at the end of a walking day, as we like to be as independent with our walking as possible. There were quite a few transfers scheduled originally, but with Nikos' help we managed to cut down on a couple of them with slight amendmends. And even when we had to rely on them, Nikos made it very easy to schedule them, so we never felt stressed.Every special request was met (even a pick-up very early in the morning from Iguomenitsa port). and we loved how the name "Nikos" alone seemed to open doors like a magic pass. Everyone knew who we were, what we needed, and where we were supposed to go.Accommodation was good throughout, with some special gems in Tsepelovo and Kipi. Dinner was included, à la carte at either the hotel or a restaurant reserved by Nikos. We could choose whatever we wanted from the menu and only paid for drinks. Food was great, even if there was a bit of an overabundance of french fries :-)We do a lot of self-guided walking tours and are used to just being dumped somewhere and left to fend for ourselves for a week or so. Therefore, Nikos' level of involvement was a bit of a surprise for us in the beginning (you will be in contact with him every day, either in person, by phone, or by WhatsApp), but we appreciated it, as it made us feel very safe and allowed for last-minute changes, help, and recommendations.In short: we have never felt this well looked-after and this felxible on a self-guided hiking tour, and we've done at least one of those every year for the past 15 years.The region is an absolute gem. Hiking trails are well-marked and well-maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning. Very pretty villages. beautiful bridges, a breathtaking gorge... Go. Absolutely do go there if you have a chance, we can't recommend it enough.15 years of hiking holidays. and this was one of the best.Thank you, Nikos!

First time visiting the Zagori region, lovely scenery of stone built villages and arched bridges. The Vikos Gorge was a wonderus sight to see plus the snow made our visit even more magical. Hope to see more of the 40 odd villages of Zagori in the future.
