Definitely if you like wine and want to find out a bit more. The hosts were lovely, very knowledgeable and good fun . The girl doing the food parings had them perfectly paired. Only complaint, it was only 45 minutes long.

Amazing class with Giacomo
We had the most amazing experience with Giacomo and Alex and genuinely couldn’t recommend this cooking class enough!From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. It really did feel less like a formal cooking class and more like being welcomed into someone’s home for an evening with friends.Giacomo is a professional fresh pasta chef and his knowledge absolutely shines through. He was incredibly patient, friendly and such a brilliant teacher. He taught us how to make two different types of fresh pasta (one with eggs and one without) and then showed us how to cut and shape them in so many different ways, explaining what each shape is traditionally used for along the way. We learned so much without the experience ever feeling rushed or overly technical.It was also so much more than just making pasta. Giacomo prepared gorgeous starters for us, along with delicious sauces to accompany the pasta we had made, and then me and my partner sat at the table to enjoy the meal we had helped to prepare. He served Lambrusco with our meal, which neither of us had really tried before, and we are now completely obsessed with it! To finish, he served us what was genuinely the best tiramisu I have ever had, absolutely incredible.What really stood out was how much Giacomo went above and beyond. After the experience, he even walked us into the town centre and recommended places for us to visit and explore in the beautiful local area, which was such a lovely and thoughtful extra touch.We were also sent all of the photos and videos from the evening afterwards, as well as the recipes, so we can recreate everything at home.This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We would 100% do it again and I would genuinely love the opportunity to learn more from Giacomo in the future. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and a fantastic teacher. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such a memorable evening. ❤️

Virginia was a fantastic teacher And very patient. Virginia’s mom Nadia is just adorable. My husband and I had an awesome time. And the hospitality was outstanding. Virginia’s home is just lovely. I can’t wait to go home and make homemade pasta and ravioli. I highly recommend taking her cooking class you’ll walk away with wonderful experience and memories.

Claudia was a wonderful host, and exceptional teacher. She made sure I understood the value of measuring, the type of flour and eggs that are best to use. I learned what dough should look and feel like when preparing and rolling it out. That is what makes the difference in the success of your pasta. We made two different fillings, but the fun part was filling and shaping the tortellini, tortelli and more. She made time to show me the different instruments and how they effect the shape a texture of the pasta. It was so fun!

My adult daughter and I had a wonderful private cooking class and dinner with Roberta G at her lovely home in Bologna, a short taxi ride from our hotel. With a professional home kitchen, culinary skills and patience she taught us how to make (from flour and eggs) torteloni, tagliatelle and bowtie pasta. We also enjoyed wine, appetizers, parmegiana cheese and dessert with our delicious homemade pasta. I highly recommend this activity.

What a fantastic experience!
Had such a great time at Acetaia Marchi! My guide was fun, passionate, and clearly knew everything there was to know about balsamic vinegar. The tour through the aging rooms was fascinating. I had no idea how much time and tradition goes into every bottle. And then the tasting... wow. The balsamic itself is simply amazing, left with a few bottles and zero regrets. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Modena!

The tour was absolutely fantastic. The estate was beautiful, very well maintained, and impressive to see. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything very clearly.The whole experience was both fascinating and educational, and we learned a lot about traditional balsamic vinegar that we didn’t know before. The balsamic vinegar itself was also absolutely delicious.Overall, a very interesting and enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend!

If you are visiting Bologna, do not leave without taking a cooking class with Olga. It was hands down the highlight of our entire trip.From the moment we arrived, Olga made us feel completely at home. Her warmth, patience, and genuine passion for Italian cooking created an experience that was as fun as it was educational. She walked us through every step with care, answered every question, and made the whole experience feel effortless and joyful.The food we made together was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and authentically Bolognese. But what truly set the experience apart was the thoughtfulness Olga brought to every detail. She sent us home with beautiful recipe cards of every dish we made, along with photos she took throughout the class so we could relive the experience and remember every moment.When we return home and are recreating the dishes for our family, we will think of Olga and the wonderful afternoon we spent in her kitchen. She is a gifted teacher, a gracious host, and a truly lovely person.Five stars without hesitation. Book her. You will not regret it.

A really enjoyable few hours with Matteo and Eddy - we had been looking forward to the pasta making class and it lived up to expectations❤️ Matteo and Eddy of Rimini were perfect hosts - spritz on arrival with tasty snacks of local pork, cheese, olives and brushetta - thankyou 😋 They taught us how to make 2 types of pasta, it was hands on and we were all pleased with our efforts We then had lunch roasted veg x2, our 2 types of pasta with sauce, followed by the best tiramasu ever! - all the while our drinks were kept refilled Thank you for the perfect class 👌 Matteo & Eddy you are stars 🌟

A great experience. Chef took care of our allergies really well, and was great with our 9 year old. She helped us cook up a delicious meal.One heads up is that the location is a little outside of the center, so plan accordingly if you don't have a car.Would definitely recommend.
