We very much enjoyed our all day tour. Driver Graham with Telstar Taxis (Telstar Travel Co.). gave us a custom tour of interesting tin mines, filming locations and pretty little villages. Delightful.

Our driver, Simon, was excellent in giving us a full day of Cornwall experiences and in maneuvering the narrow lanes that allowed us to get to places that large tour buses cannot get to—beautiful and peaceful places. Our only complaint is that we stood around for quite some time to meet up with him when he was there the whole time but in a vehicle that gave NO indication that it was connected to Meneage Tours. It would have been nice if we been told to look for Telstar instead, especially since I inquired twice ahead of time as to how to recognize our tour at the dock.

What a wonderful experience booking with the Elite Duchy Tours. The tour company reached out to our group of 4 before the tour with detailed meeting instructions and ensured a stress-free experience for us. Our tour guide, Steve was waiting right where we got off the cruise ship tender. The transportation was roomy and very comfortable for our ride to Port Isaac to see where the Doc Martin series was filmed. Steve pointed out points of interest along the way and during the walking tour of the town. What a quaint little town and it was surreal to be where the actual filming was done. Steve was very accommodating and offered to drop us off to do some shopping but we opted to get back to the pier with plenty of time to catch the tender back to the ship. Overall a wonderful enjoyable, and relaxing tour. We highly recommend Elite Duchy Tours and our fantastic tour guide, Steve.

We had a great experience. Our driver Steve was prompt, very talkative and extremely flexible. We saw everything we wanted to see. The weather was a bit rainy but we all handled that with ease. We highly recommend this company.

We didn't know anything about Cornwall or the region, and we saw both Poldark sites and others. We also enjoyed a classic pub lunch.

We had the best day with Doug!!! We arrived on a cruise ship and were promptly picked up. Our tour was informative and fun. Back on board, it was apparent that we saw more than anyone else. I would highly recommend this tour!

What a great experience! We couldn't have been happier, except we should have planned to stay longer. Phil was a great guide, highly entertaining, and a great host. We experienced Cornwall as never anticipated. Thank you for a great experience.

Loved this tour. Communication with the tour provider was outstanding. Phil met us at our hotel on time and was very courteous. He listened to our wishes, and even though we didn't have specific places we wanted to visit, Phil recommended a tour which was outstanding. Even though the weather was fairly typical for this time of year, cool and wet, we pushed through and visited many mines, Penzance, St Ives, Lands End, Mousehole, and several Poldark locations used for filming. He allowed us ample time for walking and hiking and brought along a large umbrella for our use. He was very well versed on the history of the area, and we stopped at a country side pub for a lovely lunch of pasties and English roast sirloin of beef with yorkshire pudding, potatoes and fresh vegetables! 😋 yum! Phil showed us the out of the way historical markers, such as a historical field of prehistoric markers in a farmers field which could be visited by the public, similar to Stonehenge. Of course, we did visit the field, albeit the mud, wet and cool weather! I also got a lot of pictures of the lovely daffodils in bloom around Cornwall! It was a bit muddy that day, but we had a great time! My husband and I highly recommend this tour and really really appreciated Phil as our tour guide!

Doug is an amazing tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Cornwall & surrounding area & about many of the Poldark filming locations. He made the tour unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time spending two days with Doug seeing so many amazing places in Cornwall. We did his "Lizard Peninsula" and "Poldark & West Cornwall" tours across the two days, with a few tweaks here and there to accommodate our specific interests. Before the trip, he was very responsive to all of my questions, and during the tour he did a wonderful job driving us through and to places we never could have found or navigated on our own. He is very knowledgable about the area and all the places we visited. It was our first trip to Cornwall, and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to all of the beautiful places it has to offer!

We loved this tour with Doug at the wheel. Very informative and visited some beautiful parts of Cornwall. Pub lunch was very good a full day of history and magical scenery. Would love to do it again. Thank you Doug for looking after us.

Doug the owner of Meneage Tours arrived right on time, 9 am at our hotel in St Ives for a full days tour around the west & south coast of Cornwall. Doug was very informative and gave us an idea of the planned day, also asking if we had anything additional that he could take us too. Our day included seeing plenty of tin mines, ancient burial grounds, Cape Cornwall, Lands End, Poldark filming locations, St Micheal's Mount Penzance and views to die for. The day of our tour was extremely windy, so the sea was wiped up by the wind creating fantastic waves crashing onto the miles of rugged coast. Plenty of stops for photo taking, as well as a coffee break and a tasty pub lunch at Treen As we travelled Doug gave us loads of detail of each place we visited or passed. His knowledge and friendly personality was brilliant and this added to our day out. We returned us to our hotel about 5 pm having had a thoroughly great day made extra special by Doug.

Despite the windy and rainy time of my stay in Cornwall everything went smoothly and warmthy. I booked two one day tours in the very last moment but they eased everything. I will always remember such a wonderful coastline, the mines, the dolmens and menhirs...The travelling along the cornish routes even was funny thanks to Doug!

We toured with Doug for two days and had a great time. He customized our tour because we wanted to do some ancestry visits and he was able to arrange a church visit with a member of that church. We were able to go in the church and she had records of the graves of family members. We also visited many of the more popular sites and Doug was a wealth of information about local events and history. He is a great and safe driver and I recommend his tour service.

Doug at Meneage Tours has extensive experience in working with the production staffs of the Poldark, Doc Martin, and other film and TV properties. His knowledge of the locales for various filming sites is wonderfully detailed. Over a two day tour period, we were shown many of these; in that we were staying in Falmouth and that many of these sites were in more westerly and northern parts of Cornwall, we spent a fair mount of time driving. But there is no way, had we hired our own car, that we would have been able to navigate the many back roads and single track rural lanes to arrive at these locations. Doug knew just where to go. Lunch at a couple of completely-off-the-main-track pubs was icing on the cake. The occasional Neolithic standing stone, quoit, and stone circle made for a better understanding of Cornwall and its history. Doug is friendly, well versed, and outgoing. You’ll enjoy the time you spend with him. Highly recommend
