Myself and a group of friends did the camping and surfing package, doing a lesson on the Saturday and on the Sunday. We had the absolute best time, having our first lesson at Summerleaze and our second at Widemouth. It was incredible value for money and our coach, Marco, was 10/10. He spread his time between all of us really well, helping us all to catch waves and giving us lots of tips to improve. He was also super easy to get on with and made us all feel really comfortable. We’d definitely come back to surf with Marco and the team at Freewave. Thanks so much 🤙

So good. The guides were really good fun and really accommodating of all the different people on the tour. Tiring but well worth the money and would really highly recommend it.

We felt very safe with our knowledge instructors. Really comprehensive guidance and just the right amount of adventure without being pushed too far out of my comfort zone, did the first jump (with a bit of encouragement) and no pressure to go higher! Really enjoyed it - thanks!

Brilliant experience. Staff were really friendly and helpful. All safety equipment provided and safety briefing clear . We had the best time and would love to do it again. Parking was easy and clear instructions to find it.

We very much enjoyed our all day tour. Driver Graham with Telstar Taxis (Telstar Travel Co.). gave us a custom tour of interesting tin mines, filming locations and pretty little villages. Delightful.

This online road trip plan was easy to use and made our holiday much easier to plan. We fit in much more to our holiday than we would normally and would highly recommend.

Our driver, Simon, was excellent in giving us a full day of Cornwall experiences and in maneuvering the narrow lanes that allowed us to get to places that large tour buses cannot get to—beautiful and peaceful places. Our only complaint is that we stood around for quite some time to meet up with him when he was there the whole time but in a vehicle that gave NO indication that it was connected to Meneage Tours. It would have been nice if we been told to look for Telstar instead, especially since I inquired twice ahead of time as to how to recognize our tour at the dock.

Great weekend, Freewave was the perfect group to learn with. Our instructor Marco was really attentive, a good laugh and helped our group all improve.

I booked a taster session while we were in Cornwall, more as a means of getting teenagers off devices than anything, but it was the best part of the holiday by farThe surf school were really easy to find and we were introduced to our instructor, Tom, who fitted us with wet suits & boards and explained how the day would runWe went down onto the beach together and Tom went over some basic information on why the waves behave as they do and the reason the lifeguards flag the beach in specific places. Tom had years of experience as a surf instructor but had also been a lifeguard himself so we felt we were in safe handsWe headed into the sea, where Tom was always close by and on hand to help, making sure everyone was okTom had reassured us that we would all go at our own pace and he was true to his wordAfter a short break back out on the beach together to practice standing on our boards, we went back into the water for the final part of the sessionNo one was more surprised than me that some of us were actually standing to surf by the endWe all had an absolute blast and I would highly recommend to anyone, of any fitness levelThis school wasn’t taking out big groups, like some of the others on offer at the beach and as a result we were fortunate enough to have a lot of one on one time in the sea, which wouldn’t have been possible in a larger groupBig thanks to Tom and Freewave, we all have a new love of the ocean and can’t wait to get back out

what a great way to spend a few hours climbing rocks, swimming, jumping, caving! james and his assistant kept us safe along the way with nuggets of knowledge em parted along the way.

We enjoyed a great experience coasteering & would highly recommend for all to try. The guides are very friendly & very clear on all saftey aspects with looking after all of the group. Extreme fun for all of us, my boys really enjoyed it from sea swimming to jumping off cliffs into the sea

We didn't know anything about Cornwall or the region, and we saw both Poldark sites and others. We also enjoyed a classic pub lunch.
